  • Patent number: 8105101
Abstract: A lamp socket has a mover and a supporter. At an open position, the supporter supports the mover so that the mover does not prevent a lamp from being moved to or from a mounting position along a specified direction. When the lamp can be moved from the mounting position along the specified direction, the supporter supports the mover so that the contacts do not make contact with lamp pins, respectively. At the close position, the supporter supports the mover so that the mover prevents the lamp from being moved from or to the mounting position along the specified direction. If the mover is at the close position, and the lamp is in a posture by which it can be moved from the mounting position along the specified direction in case of the open position, the supporter supports the mover so that the contacts make contact with the pins, respectively.

Abstract: Provided are an outer blade for a reciprocation-type electric shaver and a method of producing the outer blade, the outer blade being capable of suppressing a deformation such as wrinkles or an undulation, without adding a new component, to thereby keep a good appearance thereof. A sheet material for forming the outer blade is bent into a shape projecting upward when viewed in the lateral directions. The sheet material has hair introduction holes, the peripheral edge of each hair introduction hole forming a projection section projecting inward beyond the other portion of the sheet material, the end surfaces of a part of the projection sections make contact with a reciprocating inner blade. The sheet material is formed with a deformation suppression section in a specific region not including the projection sections which make contact with the inner blade but including the projection sections which make no contact with the inner blade.

  • Patent number: 8097850
Abstract: To improve thermal insulation, a thermal infrared sensing element is carried on a sensor mount of a porous material and is spaced upwardly from a substrate by means of anchor studs projecting on the substrate. The sensor mount is formed with a pair of coplanar beams carry thereon leads extending from the sensing element. The leads and the beams are secured to the upper ends of the anchor studs to hold the sensing element at a predetermined height above the substrate. The beams and the leads are combined with each other by intermolecular adhesion such that the sensing element as well as the sensor mount can be altogether supported to the anchor studs.

  • Patent number: 8098118
Abstract: A bandpass filter includes a combination of a BAW filter and a patterned planar filter with stubs. The BAW filter is composed of a plurality of piezoelectric resonators to give a specific frequency bandpass, while the planer filter is configured to attenuate frequencies near and outside the bandpass. The resonators are connected in a ladder configuration between a first signal transmission path and a ground. The planar filter includes a strip line formed on a dielectric layer to define a second signal transmission path. The BAW filter and the planar filter are formed on a common substrate with the first and second transmission paths connected to each other. The BAW filter, in combination with the patterned planar filter added with the stub, can improve a deep near-band rejection inherent to the BAW filter, exhibiting an excellent out-of-band rejection over certain adjacent frequency ranges outside of the bandpass, and therefore give a sharp and wide bandpass.
