    Abstract: A digital hydraulic controller has at least two rows of valve elements: one can connect a supply line to a controller output, the other can connect the controller output to an outlet line. The valve elements of each row are connected in parallel and are switchable individually or simultaneously in different combinations with each other and have different flow cross sections. The valve element with the smallest flow cross section is present twice in the row. A system unit has a differential cylinder and a digital hydraulic controller with four rows of valve elements, two of which are, with their common controller output, connected to the one pressure chamber of the differential cylinder, while the other two rows of valve elements are, with their common controller output, connected to the other pressure chamber of the differential cylinder. The differential cylinder can be used as a precisely adjustable linear actuator.

The two pressure controller portions are connected, the valve means having the largest flow cross-section of the valve array of the one portion on the supply line side is opened, the valve means o having the largest flow cross-section of the valve array of the other portion on the drain line side is opened and the opened flow path is flushed through the pressure controller with pressurized working fluid, while the other valve means are closed.

    Abstract: Method of making a heat transfer materials are generally provided, along with the materials and the methods of using the materials. A splittable layer can be formed to overlie a base sheet, and an image-receptive coating can be formed to overlie the splittable layer. The image-receptive coating can include thermoplastic microparticles, a thermoplastic binder, and a humectant. The thermoplastic microparticles can be styrene particles having an average particle size of from about 5 microns to about 80 microns and melt at temperatures between about 90° C. and about 115° C. A second thermoplastic microparticle can also be included in the image-receptive coating. Alternatively, a combination of thermoplastic polyester microparticles and thermoplastic polyamide microparticles can be included in the image-receptive coating. The heat transfer material can then be dried. The humectant is configured to draw moisture back into the heat transfer sheet after drying.

A control signal based on the determined phase angle information is formed and transmitted to the first control drive (3), based on the control signal, the difference between the first and second electric actuators (2, 5) is adjusted. An electric synchronization signal between the control drives (3, 6) maintains the difference between the phase angles electric actuators (2, 5).
