  • Patent number: 11459984
Abstract: An intake manifold with a blow off/pressure release valve, wherein the intake manifold may be a unitary construction of aluminum. The intake manifold utilizes a flat gasket at engine interface that, in combination with the aluminum construction, reduces the amount of heat transferred from the cylinder head to the intake manifold. The unitary construction of aluminum provides a strong bridge and conduit between the cylinder head and the carburetor.

  • Publication number: 20130234544
Abstract: One possible embodiment of the invention could be an oil seal for a DELCO REMY 50DN heavy duty automotive alternator comprising a top collar; a bottom collar nested within the top collar to form a ring body; an annular polymer sealing member attaches to the top collar to form a mating flange that generally extends from an inner edge of the top collar to further denote a portion of an inner passage of the oil seal, the mating flange forming clockwise orientated splines to substantially denote a set return grooves in a spaced-apart, parallel, and clockwise orientation; wherein during alternator operations, a spacing collar spinning within the inner passage brings oil from the interior of the alternator into contact with the mating flange, the splines on the mating flange then direct the oil to the return grooves, which then direct the oil back towards the interior of the alternator.

  • Patent number: 8481840
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a portable media player has the form of a wearable button and includes a body that has a front face and a rear face. The media player also has a means for detachably attaching the body to an article of clothing, such as a shirt or jacket. The player has a memory that contains at least one audio file and also includes means for converting the audio file into an analogue sound signal, wherein the content of the memory is factory programmed and cannot be changed by the user. Playback controls are provided to permit playing of the audio file stored in memory. In accordance with the present invention, artist indicia are fixedly disposed on the front face of the body. The indicia correspond to the content of the audio file. For example, the indicia can include the name of the artist and/or the name of the song and/or contain graphics that are associated with the artist of the audio file content.

  • Patent number: 7915752
Abstract: The present invention provides a control circuit for enabling an aerial boom on an aerial lift truck having stabilizing members. The control circuit includes a selector switch to enable the auxiliary member and an interlock portion preventing the auxiliary member from being enabled if each of the stabilizing members is not in an operative position. The control circuit further includes an interlock over ride. The interlock over ride may be activated when the selector switch is attempting to enable the auxiliary member and remains activated until the selector switch disables the auxiliary member. Thus, the interlock over ride permits an operator to bypass the interlock during a single operation of the auxiliary member and prevents bypass from remaining active during subsequent operations of the auxiliary member.
