Abstract: The present disclosure relates to system and methods for predicting performance caused by software code changes. For this purpose, an augmented machine learning model predicts a latency of software module with updated code executed in a production environment. In some aspects, the latency is predicted based on a change of deviation that is determined by comparing the latency of the software module with updated code and the latency of the software module without updated code, whereas the software modules are executed in environments different from the production environment.

Abstract: Expedited virtual currency transactions are provided by identifying a first user primary wallet associated with a virtual currency and including a first user primary wallet private key. First user secondary wallets are created that each include a respective first user secondary wallet private key, and a respective virtual currency transaction is performed using the first user primary wallet private key to transfer predefined amounts of the virtual currency from the first user primary wallet to each of the first user secondary wallets such that first user secondary wallets are provided with different predefined amounts of the virtual currency. Subsequently, an instruction is received to transfer a payment amount to a second user, and the second user is allocated a subset of the first user secondary wallet private keys included in respective first user secondary wallets that are associated with predefined amounts of the virtual currency that equal the payment amount.

Abstract: A location of a transaction or payment request is compared with a location of a user device to determine whether the distance is great enough to send an alert for a possible fraudulent transaction. The user device location may be predicted based on a last known location and information about the area of the last known location and movement of the user device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for data management using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques related to topic modeling on text comments are described. The text comments may correspond to a particular transaction conducted by a user. Machine learning text analysis is performed on the text comment to determine one or more topics associated with the text comment. The topic with the highest correlation to the text comment is assigned to the transaction claim. Based on the topic assigned to the transaction claim, various actions may be performed, including remedial actions on a user account. These techniques may be applicable to chargeback fraud, in some embodiments.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing conversation assistance include receiving from at least one user device of a user, conversation information and determining that the conversation information is associated with a conversation involving the user and a first person that is associated with first conversation assistance information in a non-transitory memory. Body measurement data of the user is retrieved from the at least first user device. A need for conversation assistance in the conversation involving the user and the first person is detected using the body measurement data. First conversation assistance information associated with the first person is retrieved from the non-transitory memory. The first conversation assistance information associated with the first person is provided through the at least one user device.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to detecting one or more incorrect fields in user submissions, using machine learning techniques. A corrective system may access information for a plurality of fields of a tracking data structure for a user submission. In some embodiments, the corrective system predicts correct values for multiple fields of the tracking data structure using a plurality of respective different machine learning classifier modules. In some embodiments, the classifier modules use different sets of the plurality of fields as inputs and the multiple fields include a priority of the user submission and an assignee for the user submission. In some embodiments, in response to determining that at least one of the predicted correct values does not match a current value for a corresponding field of the tracking data structure, the computing system stores information indicating the mismatch and may automatically correct one or more fields.

Abstract: Methods and systems for training a computer-based classification model for classifying data are presented. The computer-based classification model is configured to classify data into one of a plurality of classifications. An initial training data set for training the classification model is obtained. In some embodiments, the training data within the initial training data set is grouped into multiple clusters, and training data within one or more clusters having corresponding ratio between a first classification and a second classification below a threshold ratio is removed from the initial training data set to generate the modified training data set. The modified training data set, instead of the initial training data set, is used to train the classification model.

Abstract: The systems and methods that maintain an IP address of a container when the container is moved from a first node to a second node in a data center are provided. Each node includes a local controller which is communicatively coupled to the central controller. The local controller generates an IP address for a container that executes on the first node. A label unique to the container is also generated on the first node. The local controller then synchronizes the IP address and the label of the container with the central controller. The central controller then passes the IP address and the label to the second node when the container is moved from the first node to the second node, and ensures that the IP address of the container remains the same before and after the move.

Abstract: Systems/techniques that can facilitate video/animated QR codes are provided. In various aspects, a processor can identify a QR code. In various instances, the processor can decompose the QR code into a static fragment and a plurality of dynamic fragments. The static fragment can be a portion of the QR code that contains sufficient information to facilitate an online transaction, whereas the plurality of dynamic fragments can be a plurality of portions of the QR code that collectively contain sufficient information to facilitate an offline transaction. In various instances, the processor can sequentially render a plurality of frames on an electronic display, where each frame depicts the static fragment and a corresponding one of the plurality of dynamic fragments. Accordingly, a point-of-sale device can facilitate an online transaction by scanning one frame rendered by the processor, and/or can facilitate an offline transaction by scanning all frames rendered by the processor.

Abstract: A method for providing location-based information via a temporary social network includes detecting each of a plurality of first user devices within a predetermined proximity of a physical location and, in response, connecting each of the plurality of first user devices to a social network that is associated with the physical location using a communications network. In some embodiments, each of the plurality of first user devices will be connected to the social network for a predetermined amount of time or for as long as they are in the predetermined proximity. While in the social network, location-based information about the physical location is received over the communications network from each of the plurality of first user devices connected to the social network. At least some of that location-based information about the physical location may then be over the communications network to a second user device.

Abstract: A system and method of presenting selectable checkout options for an item listing on a single page. A single page for an item listing is caused to be displayed on a device. The single page comprises a selectable item identifier for an item and a plurality of selectable checkout options for the item. The plurality of selectable checkout options comprises different types of selectable checkout options. An indication of a selection of the item identifier and an indication of a selection of one of the selectable checkout options are received. A visual representation of the selection of the selectable item identifier and a visual representation of the selection of one of the selectable checkout options are causes to be displayed on the single page. A visual representation for each of the selected checkout options are displayed as being attached to the visual representation of the selected item identifier.

Abstract: A user having an account with a payment provider receives an unregistered payment card that is associated with the payment provider, and that includes a magnetic strip encoded with a number unique to the card and a machine readable code such as a QR/barcode embossed thereon. The user may then open an application on the user's mobile device to capture the number associated with the card by, for example, scanning the QR/barcode, capturing an image of the number, speaking the number into the device, or manually entering the number into the user's device. The user may also authenticate with the payment provider by entering login credentials. The user may then confirm a request to link the number of the card with the user's payment provider account, which activates and links the card to the user account so that the user can immediately use the card for purchases.

Abstract: A dispute resolution cryptocurrency sidechain system includes a system provider that determines that a transaction amount for a transaction has been received at a first public ledger address on a public ledger from a second public ledger address and, in response, allocates a sidechain address on a dispute resolution sidechain ledger. The system provider then sends, through a network to a payer and a payee involved in the transaction, the sidechain address, and monitors the sidechain address for dispute communications. Based on detecting a first dispute communication that is received at the sidechain address and that is signed using a private key that identifies the payer, the system provider device causes a portion of the transaction amount that was received at the first public ledger address to be sent to the second public ledger address.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to automatically resolving an error in a user interaction with a user page without the user having to disengage from the user page to resolve the error. A monitoring agent may interface with the user page. The monitoring agent may provide an error signal to an error resolution module in response to detecting an error in the user interaction with the user page. The error resolution module may determine a causal factor for the error based on the error signal and contextual data at the time of the error. A resolution flow may be determined based on the causal factor. The resolution flow may be implemented by the monitoring agent contextually within the user page to resolve the error without the user disengaging from the user page.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to implementing inter-application communication in a peer-to-peer fashion via a lease-based central registry. The central registry is configured to maintain application-layer routing information and to perform load balancing of the inter-application communication. A first application of a plurality of applications may send a lease request identifying the second application to the central registry. The first application receives a lease response that identifies a specific instance of a second application within a plurality of computing nodes and includes a resource allocation defining one or more limits on inter-application communication that the first application is permitted to perform with the specific instance of the second application.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing a public perspective of an entity by analyzing online posts and automatically performing actions in response to these online posts are described herein. Real-time feeds of online posts may be streamed from social media servers. Online posts that are determined to be related to the entity may be extracted from the feeds and accumulated for analysis. A sentiment analysis may be performed on the online posts to determine the public perspective toward the entity. Content of the online posts may be analyzed to determine whether it is related to a prohibited transaction or an inquiry for a product or a service offered by the entity. Actions may be automatically performed to prevent the prohibited transaction from occurring. Resources related to the product or the service may be offered in response to the online post.

Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for responsive web page delivery based on network bandwidth. Upon initiation of a network communication session, a bandwidth of a network connection of the client device involved in the network communication session is determined. At least one initial display element to provide as part of a webpage for display on the client device is selected based on the bandwidth of the network connection. Instructions are then provided to the client device which cause the client device to display the at least one display element. In some embodiments, an updated bandwidth is subsequently determined and updated display elements are selected based on the updated bandwidth.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting anomalous access to tables is described. A query for accessing a table from a requesting user is received. A set of users similar to the requesting user is determined. The probability that the requesting user should access the table is calculated. Whether the user should be accessing the table based on the calculated probability is determined.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for assessing a veracity of device attributes obtained from a computer device based on estimating a number of processing cycles used by the computer device to perform a particular function. In response to receiving a transaction request from the computer device, software programming instructions are transmitted to the computer device for obtaining device attributes of the computer device. The software programming instructions may also include code that estimate a number of processing cycles used by the computer to perform a particular function. The particular function may be associated with obtaining at least one of the device attributes of the computer device. The estimated number of processing cycles may be compared against a benchmark profile. A risk associated with the transaction request is determined based on the comparing.

Abstract: Methods and systems for assessing and evaluating vulnerabilities of a networked system are presented. A list of known vulnerabilities that have been disclosed in the public may be obtained. The networked system may be scanned from an external perspective to obtain network information of the networked system. A subset of the known vulnerabilities may be determined to be relevant to the networked system based on correlations between the vulnerabilities and the network information. The networked system may also be analyzed from an internal perspective to determine impacts of the relevant known vulnerabilities to the networked system. The impact of a vulnerability may be determined based on the type of data and/or the type of services that may be accessible in an attack that exploits the vulnerability. The vulnerabilities may then be ranked and addressed based on the impacts.
