Abstract: A method for applying agency and regulation modeling in a multi-tenant architecture system includes accessing merchant's representation in an identity manager. The merchant is managed via a full representation by an original identity manager. The method includes performing a first service for the merchant via the representation, and determining, based on results of the first service and on policies of the first service provider, that performance of a second service is required for completion of the first service. The second service is provided by a second service provider onboarded into the first service provider, where the second service amends policy requirements of the first service provider. The method includes accessing a first subservice of the second service using the representation to generate second results for use at a second subservice of the second service, the second subservice configured to use transaction resources of the first representation.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for verifying the possession of a card, such as a credit card or a debit card, by a card user. Possession of the card can be verified, for example, when a purchase transaction, such as a telephone purchase transaction or an online purchase transaction, is attempted with the card and the purchase transaction is denied due to suspected account take over. Possession of the card can be verified by detecting the present of the card with a mobile device of the user, such as a smart phone. For example, possession of the card can be verified by near field communication (NFC) between the card and the mobile device, wherein the communication is sufficient to adequately determine the presence of the card.

Abstract: A user device is associated with a dynamic trust score that may be updated as needed, where the trust score and the updates are based on various activities and information associated with the mobile device. The trust score is based on both parameters of the device, such as device type, registered device location, device phone number, device ID, the last time the device has been accessed, etc. and activities the device engages in, such as amount of transactions, dollar amount of transactions, amount of denied requests, amount of approved requests, location of requests, etc. Based on a transaction request from the user device, the trust score and a network reputation score is used to determine an overall trust/fraud score associated with the transaction request.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for providing a scalable communication framework for facilitating computing services to computer nodes across multiple availability zones. One or more communication servers act as a communication proxy for a processing server configured to perform the computing services. Upon receiving a service request from a computer node, the communication server establishes a synchronous communication session with the computer node. The communication server generates a request message and inserts the request message in a downstream queue accessible by the processing server. The processing server retrieves the request message from the downstream queue and performs the computing services based on the request message. Outputs from the computing services are encapsulated within a response message and then inserted in an upstream queue.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing risk determination in a crypto currency transaction include receiving, through a network via a broadcast by a first payer device, a first crypto currency transaction that includes a first payee public address. A first request for a determination of risk associated with the first crypto currency transaction is then identified in the first crypto currency transaction, with the first request including risk criteria. A first payee involved in the first crypto currency transaction is then identified using the first payee public address, and first payee risk information is accessed via at least one external risk information database based on the identification of the first payee. If it is determined that the first payee risk information satisfies the at least one risk criteria in the first request, the first crypto currency transaction is provided for addition to a block in a crypto currency public ledger.

Abstract: A method includes calculating first connection usage information based on a first number of connections being used in a connection pool over a first time interval and adding a first number of database connections to the connection pool based on determining that the first connection usage information satisfies a first usage threshold. Additionally, the method includes calculating second connection usage information based on a second number of connections being used in the connection pool over a second interval. The second interval has been previously reset responsive to adding the first number of database connections to the connection pool. The method also includes determining whether to adjust the number of database connections in the connection pool based on the second connection usage information.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for identifying patterns in computing attacks through an automated traffic variance finder. A service provider, such as an electronic transaction processor for digital transactions, may determine network traffic logs caused or generated by malicious web traffic and network communications, such as during a computing attack by a bad actor. The service provider may generate a log signature for the network traffic log based on a variance or uniqueness of the network traffic logs IP address from other network traffic logs for each field in the network traffic log over a time period, and a spread in the commonality of the network traffic log with other network traffic logs. An aggregate score for each field may be determined based on the variance and the spread. Once determined, the log signature may be used to identify other network traffic logs through a search function.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to scoring partial matches between words. In certain embodiments, a method may include receiving a request to determine a similarity between an input text data and a stored text data. The method also includes determining, based on comparing one or more words included in the input text data with one or more words included in the stored text data, a set of word pairs and a set of unpaired words. Further, in response to determining that the set of unpaired words passes elimination criteria, the method includes calculating a base similarity score between the input text data and the stored text data based on the set of word pairs. The method also includes determining a scoring penalty based on the set of unpaired words and generating a final similarity score between the input text data and the stored text data by modifying the base similarity score based on the scoring penalty.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for creating an application lifecycle management platform for big data applications. In one embodiment the lifecycle management platform can include a multiple-layer container file that integrates multiple big-data tools/platforms. The system may create a generic template application, create a build environment for the generic template application, create a test environment for the generic template application, and run the built generic template application in the test environment prior to the user writing any new code in the generic template application. In one embodiment, the test environment includes a container management system or virtual machine that launches the big data application (which may be the generic template application before a developer edits the file) on a separate big-data server cluster.

Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically providing dynamic content for facilitating a transaction are described herein. An online marketplace is accessed by a client device over a network. A user identifier associated with the client device is passed to a payment service provider via a merchant system associated with the online market place. Dynamic content is generated by the payment service provider in response to the user identifier and subsequently served to the client device over the network.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a physical stand for multiple device orientations and peripheral card reader. A device stand may include a dock that allows for placement and securing of a computing device within the device case, such as through a locking or connecting mechanism. The device dock further includes a peripheral component, such as a physical card reader, that allows for reading and entry of card data into the computing device for use with an electronic transaction processing application on the computing device. This allows the computing device to process transactions electronic with an online service provider. Further, the device stand includes a hinge or joint that allows for rotating and inverting of the computing device over a curved extension from a base of the device stand, which allows the computing device to be viewed in multiple directions and orientations.

Abstract: A system includes a service provider device and a point of sale (POS) device. A session between a user device and the POS device is established. An authentication request associated with the user device is provided via a user interface of the POS device. Subsequent to an authentication of information, responsive to the authentication request, the POS device receives funding instrument (FI) proxy information corresponding to FIs, which is unusable to identify the FIs by a merchant. A selectable representation corresponding to the FI proxy information is provided via the user interface. Responsive to receiving an indication of a selected member from the selectable representation, information for the selected member is sent. The service provider device determines that the session corresponds to an account associated with the user device and the merchant, and performs a transaction for the session using a first FI that corresponds to the selected member.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a modular mobile point of sale device having separable units for configurable data processing. A modular device may include a main unit that includes data processing features to allow for a mobile point of sale, including a data entry unit for payment data, a communication component to secure communicate that data to a centralized transaction processor, and a processing unit to receive the data and instruct the centralized to process the data with an online service provider. The module device may also be physically and communicatively coupled to additional modules that may increase the on-device functionality of the main unit, include a module to allow user input and additional modules to accept other types of transaction input. On detection of a connected unit, the main unit may secure connect to and authenticate each attached module.

Abstract: The systems and methods that generate a one-touch frame are provided. A line of code including a tag is inserted into a webpage. The tag includes a link to a server from which parameters for the frame are obtained. The browser uses the parameters to generate the frame. In addition, the server or a local memory of a computing device on which the frame is generated also store credentials associated with a user account. These credentials are also obtained and incorporated into the frame. The frame may then be activated to perform one-touch functions using the credentials.

Abstract: Verification of user identities is an important aspect of computer and network security. In some instances, a first user may attempt to engage with a second user via a web application, mobile phone app, or other software without necessary knowing that the identity of a second user is accurate. The computer security problem of identity verification may be particularly acute when the only contact information is an email address, phone number, or other electronic identifier that can potentially change ownership (e.g. a person may get a new phone number, someone might purchase an Internet domain and thus change ownership of an email address, etc.) This disclosure and claims relate to techniques that allow for enhanced security by verifying an identity of a user via specific prompts and interactions provided via software. Particular credentials may be required in order to verify user identity, including biometrics and other specific required responses.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to accessing, by an evaluation computer system, transaction details from a subset of current transactions being processed by a production version of a transaction processing service that is implemented on a production computer system. The evaluation computer system may perform, in real-time, tests on a particular product using the transaction details. The evaluation computer system may then store output from the tests that are performed using the transaction details.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing location-restricted message exchange include receiving, by a system provider device over a network from a sender device, a location-restricted message that includes sender message information and first location information that is associated with a first location. The system provider device then receives, over the network from a first receiver device, second location information that is associated with a second location. The system provider device then determines that the second location is in a limited geographic message exchange area with the first location and, in response, sends at least some of the sender message information by the system provider device over the network to the first receiver device. They system provider device may use filtering criteria provided by the first or second receiver device and use that filtering criteria to determine whether to send the sender message information to the first or second receiver device.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for user authentication. In one embodiment, the user authentication occurs using a multi-provider platform. The multi-provider platform enables the use and retrieval of user information from the given provider for the use and assessment of information associated with the user. User information may also be received over a web link communicated at least in part by a risk checkpoint component to a user device, wherein the user information received and that retrieved may be jointly used for determining user authentication.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for reducing account churn rate through intelligent collaborative filtering. A user may utilize an online account with the service provider to perform various actions and generate account usage data, such as usage of various service subcategories of the service provider or different subcategorizations for the user. Based on the current user's usage of services and other subcategorizations of the user, the user may be compared to other past users that have left the service provider utilizing collaborative filtering for matching users and user vectorization. For example, a matrix of the past users may be made based on the number of matching user that fall into the same categorizations. Each row of the matrix may be vectorized and compared to current user. If this comparison indicates potential attrition of the account, a remediation action may be taken.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a payment information autofill mechanism that links a browser application with a user account such that a payment page at the browser application can be automatically filled based on the link. Specifically, the autofill mechanism establishes a link between a browser application running on a user device and a user account associated with the user that is stored at the server. When the user engages with the browser application to conduct a transaction on a merchant website, an application programming interface (API) call can be made to retrieve user virtual card information for automatically populating the payment data fields at the transaction page.
