    Abstract: A method for determining a fugitive emission factor (EF) and a leakage rate of a combustion source. For a combustion source capable of performing stack emission and fugitive emission, an organized EF, a fugitive EF, and a leakage rate of fugitive emission are respectively obtained through calculation based on material balance. The method solves the problem that it is impossible to collect a total amount of smoke and to quantify its volume in a field test and the problem that a conventional carbon mass balance (CMB) method cannot distinguish organized leakage from fugitive leakage. The method can be used not only for determining gas leaked from residential indoor stoves using coal, biomass, etc., but also for determining fugitive emissions from other sources, such as the amount of gas leaked to the surrounding environment through the body of a brick kiln in a brick and tile factory.

    Abstract: A metal/?-MoC1-x load-type single-atomic dispersion catalyst, a synthesis method therefor, and applications thereof. The catalyst uses ?-MoC1-x as carrier, and has metal that has the mass fraction ranging from 1-100% and that is dispersed on carrier ?-MoC1-x in the single atom form. The catalyst provided in the present application can be adapted to a wide alcohol/water proportion in hydrogen production based on aqueous-phase reforming of alcohols, outstanding hydrogen production performance can be obtained at a variety of proportions, and catalysis performance of the catalyst is much higher than that of metal loaded with an oxide carrier. Especially when the metal is Pt, catalysis performance of the catalyst provided in the present application in the hydrogen production based on aqueous-phase reforming of alcohols is much higher than that of a Pt/?-MoC1-x load-type catalyst on the ?-MoC1-x carrier on which Pt is disposed on a layer form in the prior art.

    Abstract: As disclosed herein, the preS antigen on infectious hepatitis B virus (HBV) particles can provide B and T ceil epitopes that promote the humoral and cellular responses and enhance the seroprotection rate by overcoming non-responsiveness to the S antigen-only vaccines. Therefore, compositions and methods are disclosed using the preS antigen to develop vaccines and immune therapies for treating or preventing hepatitis B infection, in particular, virus-like particles (VLPs) are disclosed that contain the preS antigen on its surface. These VLPs can be used alone or in combination with vaccines containing the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) to vaccinate subjects against HBV as well as to activate T ceils for adoptive T cell therapy to eradicate HBV infected hapatocytes.

    Abstract: A dual-gate transistor and its production method are disclosed. An auxiliary gate is connected to the power supply of the integrated circuits, to form thick and high square-shaped potential barrier of minority carriers adjacent to the drain electrode, while the potential barrier is transparent for the majority carriers from the source electrodes. The potential barrier can effectively inhibit reverse minority carrier tunneling from the drain electrode at large drain-source voltage. The transistor can be easily turned on at small drain-source voltage, without significantly decreasing the on-state current. The dual-gate transistor can significantly suppress ambipolar behavior with increased current on/off ratio and reduced power consumption, and maintain the high performance. Based on transistors, strengthened CMOS circuits can have high noise margin, low voltage loss, reduced logic errors, high performance and low power consumption.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a deep discriminative network for person re-identification in an image or a video. Concatenation are carried out on different input images on a color channel by constructing a deep discriminative network, and an obtained splicing result is defined as an original difference space of different images. The original difference space is sent into a convolutional network. The network outputs the similarity between two input images by learning difference information in the original difference space, thereby realizing person re-identification. The features of an individual image are not learnt, and concatenation are carried out on input images on a color channel at the beginning, and difference information is learnt on an original space of the images by using a designed network. By introducing an Inception module and embedding the same into a model, the learning ability of a network can be improved, and a better differentiation effect can be achieved.

    Abstract: A method and kit the simultaneous analysis of thyroid hormones (THs) and related metabolites in serum are disclosed. The method includes the extraction of THs and related metabolites, the derivatization of THs and related metabolites with 5-N-succinimidoxy-5-oxopentyl)triphenylphosphonium bromide (SPTPP), and the analysis of SPTPP derivatives using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). Free or total THs (T3 and T4) together with their related metabolites (MIT, DIT, T0, T1, rT1, 3,3?-T2, 3,5-T2, and rT3) can be determined simultaneously, rapidly, and accurately. This invention overcomes the limitation that the traditional method can only be used for the analysis of T3 and T4 with low specificity. The invention exhibits extremely high analytical sensitivity for all of the target analytes (femtogram level).

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for detecting pedestrians in an image by using Gaussian penalty. Initial pedestrian boundary box is screened using a Gaussian penalty, to improve the pedestrian detection performance, especially sheltered pedestrians in an image. The method includes acquiring a training data set, a test data set and pedestrian labels of a pedestrian detection image; using the training data set for training to obtain a detection model by using a pedestrian detection method, and acquiring initial pedestrian boundary box and confidence degrees and coordinates thereof; performing Gaussian penalty on the confidence degrees of the pedestrian boundary box, to obtain confidence degree of the pedestrian boundary box after the penalty; and obtaining final pedestrian boundary boxes by screening the pedestrian boundary boxes. Thus, repeated boundary boxes of a single pedestrian are removed while reserving boundary boxes of sheltered pedestrians, thereby realizing the detection of the pedestrians in an image.
