Abstract: A hitch ball assembly generally includes a ball member and a body connected to the ball member. A passageway extends longitudinally within the body and at least one locking member may be in communication with the passageway to lock the hitch ball in place. An elongated member within the passageway is biased to engage the locking member. The body further includes an opening arranged transverse to the passageway. A release mechanism is positioned within an opening in the body transverse to the passageway. The release member is in communication with the elongated member to move the elongated member between a locked position and an unlocked position.
Abstract: The present invention relates to processes for the synthesis of saturated and unsaturated silahydrocarbons using iron-containing or cobalt-containing catalysts. The processes of the invention can produce tetraalkylsilanes, phenyltrialkylsilanes, substituted phenyltrialkylsilanes and their mixtures, which are useful as lubricants and hydraulic fluids, as well as alkyl alkenylsilanes, phenyl alkenylsilanes and substituted phenyl alkenylsilanes and their mixtures, which are useful in the synthesis of saturated silahydrocarbons and other organofunctional silanes.

Abstract: A method of preparing an article includes compressing a polymeric material to form a body and hot isostatic pressing (HIP) the body in an inert atmosphere at a pressure of at least 3 ksi without an encapsulant. The body may optionally be sintered prior to hot isostatic pressing (HIP). The body may have a porosity of not greater than 8% prior to hot isostatic pressing (HIP). The polymer material may be a non-melt processible polymer.
Abstract: A damping valve arrangement is provided for controlling a pilot pressure that exerts influence on a control chamber of a damping device of a vibration damper through a control fluid, with an armature that is displaceable by the activity of an electrically energizable coil and provided in a housing, which armature includes a guide pin on which a first spring washer is provided and braces the guide pin. The first spring washer is designed for changing the area of a flow-through opening of the damping valve arrangement through which a control fluid is able to flow.
Abstract: A container includes an inner bag, where the interior of the inner bag includes a sterile environment for storing a material, at least one access port configured to provide fluid access to the interior of the inner bag, an overwrap bag, where the interior of the overwrap bag includes a sterile environment for storing the material and where the inner bag is enclosed within the interior of the overwrap bag, and an overwrap access port configured to provide fluid access to the interior of the overwrap bag. The material can include a biomaterial. Each of the inner bag, the overwrap bag, the at least one access port, and the overwrap access port can include a fluoropolymer such as fluoroethylenepropylene (FEP).
Abstract: A universal bellhousing which may be adapted to a variety of automotive engine and transmission combinations and method of making the same is disclosed. The bellhousing is made by spin forming a sheet of steel and welding a transmission plate onto the cone. The cone and transmission plate are indexed to mount to a specified engine-transmission combination.
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the technology described herein, a audio headset system is provided, comprising: a speaker; a signal processor configured to process source audio received from an audio source, to produce processed audio from the source audio, and to output the processed audio to the speaker; and a control unit configured to control operation of the signal processor according to an audio profile, wherein the audio profile causes the signal processor to selectively mix, delay, phase shift, and equalize the source audio, thereby producing processed audio.

The anti-fogging layers can contain an adhesive polymer, a hard polymer, and a hydrophilic polymer, wherein the adhesive polymer, hard polymer, and hydrophilic polymers are different. In further embodiments, composites are described including a substrate layer; a first adhesive layer; a first transparent layer; a second adhesive layer; a second transparent layer; and an anti-fog layer.
Abstract: A plumbing assembly includes a plumbing fitting having a body. The body includes a main body portion having a main bore extending there through. A peripheral body portion extends from the main body portion. The peripheral body portion includes a distal end and a sampling bore extends through the peripheral body such that the sampling bore is in fluid communication with the main bore. The plumbing assembly further includes a sampling valve threadably coupled to the distal end of the peripheral body portion of the plumbing fitting. The sampling valve extends at least partially into the sampling bore without extending into the main bore. As such, the main bore is unimpeded by the sampling valve and use of the sampling valve imparts substantially no pressure drop in a fluid passing through the main bore of the plumbing fitting.
