  • Patent number: 6554102
Abstract: A dismantlable, multi-story facade scaffold is formed of at least four vertical support elements and floor plates and railing elements which are mounted thereto. An additional scaffold story is erected by coupling an additional vertical support element to an already existing one and pivotally attaching one end of a railing element thereto at a location above where the floor plate for the next story will be placed. The other end of that railing element is pivotally attached to another vertical support element. This other vertical support element is then raised, thereby pivotally moving the rail element relative to the respective vertical support element until the rail element is in a horizontal position and the vertical support element is in the vertical position. The other vertical support element is now attached to the upper end of a corresponding vertical support of the lower scaffold story.

  • Patent number: 6223856
Abstract: The invention relates to a dismountable scaffolding with vertical struts and horizontal struts. A base plate extends between said struts and is provided with hook-shaped end fittings on each front face. Said base plate can be placed on a rail section in such a way that vertical locking or unlocking can be selectably achieved by sliding the end fitting in the direction of the rail section. Horizontal antislip locking is achieved and cancelled by raising the end fitting, thereby preventing said fitting from sliding into an inactive vertical locking position when it is in an active vertical position.

  • Patent number: 5379566
Abstract: An adjustable-height post (10) for construction formwork, which is preferably made of aluminum, consists of an outer tube (12) to which a threaded nut is fastened in a lossproof manner, and an inner tube (11) that has thread segments (13, 14) on the outer surface. The segments (13, 13', 13", 13'") project into recesses (19, 19', 19", 19'") of the outer tube (12). This embodiment produces a robust post (10) whose inner tube (11) is nonrotatably supported and guided in the outer tube (12). The inner tube (11) can more easily be manufactured with the threads (14) according to the invention; at the same time, material can be saved in the manufacture of the post (10).
