Abstract: Provided are an encoding system using motion estimation and an encoding method using motion estimation for achieving high-speed motion estimation according to a multi-processing unit. The encoding system using motion estimation, comprises a multi-processing unit calculating motion estimation on many macroblocks of an input image, a motion estimator estimating motion vectors of the macroblocks of the input image using the motion estimation on the plurality of macroblocks, previously calculated by the multi-processing unit, and an encoder encoding the image based on the motion vectors of the macroblocks, estimated by the motion estimator. According to the present invention, motion estimation to be used for motion estimation can be calculated in advance according to the multi-processing unit capable of processing high-speed parallel processing to reduce an image encoding time and improve an encoding speed.

In the present invention, a user enters his or her password to a mobile terminal with a UIM card including subscriber telephone number, finance, authorization, and personal information, then, if the entered password is correct, authorization is processed with a remote authorizing server based on the authorization information. After authorization, user's requesting service, e.g., payment service, transaction particulars inquiry service, prepaid card recharging service is conducted through a mobile network.

Abstract: Method and system for updating firmware on a beacon device. The system includes: a communication unit and a control unit. The system broadcasts a beacon signal within a certain radius and exchanges information with the service device and the control unit and inquires of the service device about a firmware program version at a predetermined period basis by receiving the firmware program version from the service device and comparing a preset firmware program version with the received firmware program version for controlling the communication unit to stop broadcasting of the beacon signal if both versions are different from each other. The system also requests the service device to update the firmware program through the communication unit, and installs the firmware program received from the service device through the communication unit.

Abstract: A method and system for determining whether a beacon device is abnormal using a service server are disclosed herein. The service server includes an approach information reception unit, a pattern information generation unit, and a detection unit. The approach information reception unit receives approach information related to any one of a plurality of beacon devices from a user terminal over a network. The pattern information generation unit generates pattern information about a pattern in which the user terminal approaches the plurality of beacon devices based on a plurality of pieces of approach information received from a plurality of user terminals. The detection unit determines whether any one of the plurality of beacon devices is abnormal based on a change in the pattern information generated by the pattern information generation unit.
