Abstract: A local wireless data communication system and a method and apparatus for automatically setting information in the system, in which a service device is accessed via the Internet by setting Internet access using Internet access information received from a management terminal device and beacon identification information that is to be included in a beacon signal is automatically set by requesting and receiving identification information from the accessed service device. Thus, the beacon identification information may be automatically set and changed in a simple manner by a beacon device without performing a complicated process of accessing the beacon device and changing the settings of the beacon device by the management terminal device in order to set or change the beacon identification information. Also, the beacon device may be managed in a more convenient and simpler manner without an administrator's efforts. Also, costs and a time needed to manage the beacon device may be reduced.

Abstract: A system, method and device for controlling security of a beacon. The system includes a beacon device configured to broadcast a beacon identifier, and change the beacon identifier to another beacon identifier and to broadcast the other beacon identifier when a request to change the beacon identifier is received. The control device is configured to map and store the beacon identifier and service information and provide the service information to a terminal device that has received the beacon identifier and has accessed the control device. The control device also provides information on the other beacon identifier to replace the beacon identifier, and utilize the other beacon identifier to retrieve the service information for preventing an unauthorized user from changing information and enhance information security.

Abstract: Provided are a method of reinforcing the security of a beacon device and a system and apparatus thereof. In particular, the stability of security is increased by performing user authentication and encrypting data during communication with a beacon device, so that identification information of the beacon device may be changed by establishing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication after the beacon device and a terminal are connected. Also, a user can be exactly identified using a beacon signal and authenticated, thereby conveniently providing additional services. Also, the location of a terminal may be determined using a BLE beacon signal terminal to reduce resources consumed to measure the location of the terminal. A service device may simplify logic for extracting information to be applied to a service.

Abstract: Provided are a beacon device and a control method for seamless service. The beacon device includes a plurality of Bluetooth communication modules. The beacon device activates one of the plurality of Bluetooth communication modules to broadcast a beacon signal. While the activated Bluetooth communication module is connected to any terminal device, the beacon device activates another one of the plurality of Bluetooth communication modules to broadcast the beacon signal, enabling the seamless service.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for providing a customized service based on a beacon signal are disclosed. The terminal device identifies at least one beacon device through the scanning of a beacon signal transmitted from the beacon device, calculates a distance to the identified beacon device using the beacon signal of the identified beacon device, and transmits information about the calculated distance and beacon identification information to a service device. The service device generates customized information based on the distance to the beacon device using the distance information and the beacon identification information received from the terminal device, and provides the generated customized information to the terminal device.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an entry checking system, a method for the same, and an apparatus applied to the same. That is, the present invention may form an exclusive coverage based on an IP in a beacon apparatus based on Bluetooth to enable a user terminal to access based on the IP rather than the Bluetooth, transmit unique identification information received from the accessed user terminal to a checking server based on the IP, and enable the checking server to check an entry of the user terminal into the exclusive coverage regardless of whether the Bluetooth is supported by the user terminal or whether the user terminal accesses through a wireless Internet based on the IP.

Abstract: The present invention provides a trusted application download management, authentication, and execution method and system.
