Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling a robotic device for inserting or removing rod-like elements into or from a storage frame, the rod-like elements, like smoking bars, serving for storing products, like sausages, each having a sausage-shaped body and a loop for a pendulously storage of the products. The method comprises the steps of moving the storage frame into the operating range of the robotic device, picking up a rod-like element on which a number of sausage like products are hung up by the robotic device, and inserting or removing the rod-like element into or from the storage frame by the robotic device. Moreover, there is provided a storage frame with at least a machine readable label from which information regarding the storage device are read out from the machine readable label, which is attached to the storage device, at least before the storage frame is moved into the operating range of the robotic device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a clipping machine for partitioning and closing a tubular packaging casing accommodating a filing material, and in particular sausage meat. The clipping machine comprises at least a first and second displacer element pair which in relation to an axis of the tubular packaging casing are arranged axially one after the other, and, which comprise each an upper displacer element and a lower displacer element. Each pair of the displacer elements are linearly reversibly movable in a first and second plane from an open position to a closed position. A first linear guidance comprises a first and second guiding rod for guiding the two pairs of the displacer elements. The first and second guiding rods are positioned in a plane parallel to the first and second plane of the first and second pairs of the displacer elements.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system for producing and handling sausage-like product and a method for controlling for controlling said system with the steps of filling a tubular casing with viscous or granular stuff, dividing the filled tubular casing into sausage-like products and closing the sausage-like products by closure clips in a clipping machine, feeding the sausage-like product out of the clipping machine and storing the sausage-like product on a rod-like element in a hanging line and gripping the rod-like element by a robotic device and storing the rod-like element in a storage frame. The method further comprises the steps of sensing the weight of the sausage-like product after the sausage-like product is stored on a rod-like element, deriving a control signal for the clipping machine on the basis of the weight and controlling the clipping machine by a control unit on the basis of the control signal.

The clipping machine comprises a filling tube for feeding the filling material into a_packaging casing, gathering means for gathering the filled packaging casing and for forming a plait-like portion thereto, and a clipping device for applying at least one closure means to the plait-like portion and closing said closure means. Furthermore, the clipping device includes a drive means for driving the first closing tool. Said drive means comprises a crank shaft having a crank pin, and a plunger having a central axis, for holding and linearly moving the first closing tool between its opened and closed position along its central axis. A guide track is mounted to said plunger, and a slide block pivotally attached to the crank pin is in slidable engagement with said guide track for moving said plunger along its central axis.

At the same time, the tubular packing sleeve can be pulled off the filling pipe with the explosive ejected through the filling pipe.
