Abstract: A circuit may include a transmitter for generating a signal indicative of input data, an on-chip channel for transmitting the signal from the transmitter, and a receiver comprising a receiving terminal that has a negative resistance value as input resistance of the receiving terminal, the receiver generating a signal indicative of recovered data based on the transmitted signal through the on-chip channel. The circuit may recycle a portion of charge stored in the on-chip channel using charge recycling, and the charge recycling is associated with the negative resistance value of the input resistance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of synthesizing graphene, wherein a Cu—Ni thin film laminate including a copper thin film and a nickel thin film formed thereon is placed in a chemical vapor depositor, brought into contact with a graphene precursor and subjected to chemical vapor deposition (CVD), thus synthesizing thickness-controlled graphene on the copper thin film, whereby the thickness of multilayer graphene can be easily and reproducibly controlled by adjusting only nickel thickness and CVD time, and a process window for obtaining reproducible results can be widened due to self-limiting properties whereby the maximum thickness of graphene is obtained after a certain synthesis time due to the thickness-controlled nickel thin film. Also, carbon atoms absorbed to the nickel thin film reach the copper thin film opposite thereto through internal diffusion of the metal laminate to thus grow graphene via surface-mediated reaction thereon, thereby improving the uniformity of synthesized graphene.

The pressure sensor and the pressure-sensor matrix array according to the present invention are capable of eliminating electrical crosstalk between pixels using a rectifying interface in a pressure sensor matrix having high sensitivity to resistance, thereby forming a high-resolution pressure sensor array, and moreover, processing costs and complexity are reduced, which is advantageous for industrial applications.
Abstract: Present invention is about a transformation-induced plasticity high-entropy alloy which can provide improved mechanical properties compared to those obtained by conventional methods, due to the phase transformation occurring at the time of deformation at a cryogenic temperature. According to the present invention, the high-entropy alloy (HEA) includes 10-35 at % of Co, 3-15 at % of Cr, 3-15 at % of V, 35-48 at % of Fe, and 0-25 at % of Ni (exclusive of 25), and mainly consists of an FCC phase at room temperature, wherein transformation-induced plasticity, in which at least part of the FCC phase changes to a BCC phase, occurs at a cryogenic temperature (?196° C.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of isolating extracellular vesicles using an aqueous two-phase system (ATPS), including (a) preparing an ATPS by mixing a first material and a second material, which are immiscible with each other, with a body fluid or an aqueous solution containing extracellular vesicles and (b) isolating extracellular vesicles concentrated in the second material of the ATPS. This method can exhibit very high isolation efficiency, a simple isolation manner, and a very short isolation time. The isolation of extracellular vesicles using the ATPS requires no ultracentrifuge and achieves almost 100% isolation efficiency within a short time of about 10˜20 min, and thus the method of the invention is practical, is economical due to low costs thereof, can increase the purity of extracellular vesicles contaminated with protein, enables the diagnosis of disease using the isolated extracellular vesicles, and can be applied to various fields using extracellular vesicles.
