The pouch can be formed to represent various objects such as letters. The pouches can be formed with compartments for holding different components. The compartments may be separated by frangible seals to permit components to be mixed within the pouch.

Abstract: A flexible pouch comprising a first panel and a second panel. In one embodiment there is a first compartment and a second compartment formed between the first panel and the second panel. A top seal is positioned along the top of the first panel and the second panel above the first compartment and the second compartment. A locking child proof slider assembly is configured to close the top seal in one direction and permit access to the compartments in the other direction. Below the top seal and just above the compartments is a zip seal. The zip seal is reclosable and helps maintained the upper edge of the compartments keeping the contents in place and fresh. The first compartment includes at least one sidewall formed from the first panel and the second panel and at least one seam wherein the sidewalls of the first compartment are opaque to as to prevent visibility of the contents of the first compartment. An NFC tag may also be provided.

Abstract: An assembly for adjusting the position of a gripper of fill machine. The assembly includes a gripper slidably mounted to a rail and carriage movable along guide rails. The carriage has an engagement arm which engages the gripper. The width of a pouch is entered into an entry portal which is connected to the controller. A controller activates a motor to move the carriage and engagement arm to a new position. The engagement arm is rotated to lock and unlock the gripper from the rail. A sensor locates the position of the gripper.

Abstract: A flexible pouch for two-component products includes a front panel, a back panel and a pair of side seals. An upper compartment is formed between the front panel, the back panel, one of the pair of side seals, an intermediate side seal and a bottom frangible seal. A lower compartment is formed beneath the upper compartment between the front panel and the back panel. A vertical passage extends between the intermediate side seal and another of the pair of side seals from the lower compartment to an opening. Rupture of the bottom frangible seal provides a fluid passageway from the upper compartment to the lower compartment.

Abstract: The plastic vial for dispensing highly viscous or semisolid materials is formed of two sheets of thermoformable plastic. Sheets are thermoformed to form a raised profile defining a cavity. The profile has a spout portion with a parting line extends across the spout portion through particular sheet. A bending top portion of the vial snaps the parting line forming an opening in the spout to permit access to the contents.

Abstract: A process of producing hydrogen water includes the steps of: cooling water to a temperature where hydrogens atoms of the water molecule expand a space between the hydrogen atoms and contacting the cooled water with hydrogen gas wherein hydrogen atoms of the hydrogen gas are positioned in the space of the expanded hydrogen atoms of the water molecule and then heating the water trapping the hydrogen atoms of the hydrogen gas in the space wherein the hydrogen water has a hydrogen content of from 3 to 10 parts per million. The hydrogen water may be filled into pouches with hydrogen water in the pouch having a hydrogen content of from 1.7 to 4 parts per million.

Abstract: A print and inspection apparatus for use with a pouch filling and sealing machine. The apparatus has a platform with a vertical height adjustment. A print module and an inspection module are mounted to carriages which are adjustably movable along a horizontal “X” axis and adjustable along a horizontal “Z” axis. A path for the pouches is formed by a guide rail and back rail. The apparatus permits printing of information on a pouch and inspection of the pouch.

A dividing seal extends from the open top to the bottom of the pouch so as to define two pouch openings and two pouch spaces. Abstract: A filling and sealing machine configured for a flexible pouch having a turret, a servomotor, and a control unit is provided. The control unit includes a memory component having logic module stored within, a processor, and a user interface. The servomotor is connected to the turret and upon an instruction from the processor, rotates the turret. The set speed of the turret, the acceleration of the turret, and the deceleration of the turret may be modified by manual control parameters. The logic module includes preset recipe programs based upon the product being dispensed. Each preset recipe includes a different parameter for the servomotor to rotate the turret. The control unit may monitor the production system status and automatically adjust the speed, acceleration and/or deceleration of the turret to meet a desired production output.

Abstract: A zipper closure device for use with a turret type flexible pouch fill machine. The zipper closer device has a pair of rollers supported by an arm which is permitted to oscillate within a support module. The support module is mounted such that the rollers oscillate in a radial direction with respect to the access of rotation of the turret. The support module is supported by an arm in a post which permits positioning of the closer device with respect to the position of the pouches to be closed.

Abstract: A machine and a method for forming a two-compartment pouch having a lower compartment and an upper compartment The method includes the steps of drawing a film over a pair of fill tubes; sealing side edges of the film to form a sleeve; forming a bottom seal on the sleeve; pulling the sleeve downwardly; filling a bottom portion of the pouch using one of the fill tubes; forming a second seal over the filled bottom portion; filling an upper portion of the pouch using the other fill tube; and sealing the upper portion.
