Abstract: A bun separator separates pre-sliced buns into portions. A bun feeder receives a pre-sliced bun having a plurality of portions and moves the pre-sliced bun along a first feed path. An obstruction is arranged relative to the first feed path and engages at least one portion of the plurality of portions of the pre-sliced bun. An actuator operates to selectively engage at least one portion of the plurality of portions of the pre-sliced bun against the obstruction to separate the least one portion of the pre-sliced bun and transfer the at least one portion to a second feed path.

Abstract: A refrigeration apparatus includes a drawer frame with a front wall, a rear wall, and opposed side walls. A door is secured to the front wall of the drawer frame. A divider extends across the drawer frame between the front wall and the rear wall. A refrigeration storage insert includes opposed depending walls connected by a bottom surface and support flanges extend away from the opposed depending walls. The refrigeration storage insert removably engages the opposed side walls of the drawer frame respectively with the support flanges and the depending walls extend interior of the drawer frame such that the bottom surface is supported at a position below the divider.
Abstract: The Mobile Dental Intelligence Center (MobiDIC) will roll up alongside the patient's Bedside or Chairside where Oral Hygiene can be performed by the patient's Caregiver, with no need to have a sink or basin in the area. Using the MobiDIC the Caregiver will be able to brush the patient's teeth, rinse and suction the patient's mouth at the Bedside or Chairside; also the Caregiver will monitor the patients Vital Signs. The unit's unique cylindrical design makes it easy for the Caregiver to wipe clean and disinfect the unit. The air, water, suction and power supply hoses are internal to the unit reducing cord entanglement and trip hazards. The MobiDIC allows the Caregiver the ability to easily connect various medical monitoring devices including Intra and Extra Oral Cameras capturing images of the patient's mouth inside and the patient's general appearance. All MobiDIC innovations will facilitate assessing the patient's current general health.
Abstract: A baked goods handling system includes a holding cabinet operable to create a controlled environment therein. A dispenser receives a baked good from the holding cabinet and directs the baked good away from the holding cabinet. A treatment device receives the baked good from the dispenser to perform a treatment on the baked good.

Abstract: Method and system for determining glucose flux profiles in plasma during meals using continuous glucose sensors and insulin delivery. A database of plausible glucose flux profiles is encoded in dictionaries using sparse dictionary learning. A constrained Lasso minimization problem is formed that integrates a transport model for a patient with the dictionaries for estimating the glucose fluxes. Meal carbohydrates consumed by a patient is incorporated in the minimization problem through convex constraints. The estimated glucose fluxes resulting from solving the constrained Lasso minimization problem are glucose rate of appearance from the intestine, endogenous glucose production from the liver and insulin dependent glucose utilization. A method for determining patient carbohydrate to insulin ratio at the time of the meal by calculating the area under the curve of the estimated insulin dependent glucose utilization.
Abstract: A tray rack includes opposed side support frames and a plurality of shelf hooks extend interior to the tray rack from the side support frames. Shelves include sides with a hang bar. Wires extend between the hang bars. The wires include a horizontal portion between upturned portions at either end. The upturned portion and the hang bars define the sides of the shelf. The shelves are connected between the opposed side support frames by engagement of the hang bars with the shelf hooks.
Abstract: An organization system is used to store bagged food products in a temperature controlled environment. The organization system includes opposed side walls. A dispensing ramp is arranged at an angle between the opposed side walls. A front wall extends between the opposed side walls. A space between the front wall and the dispensing ramp define a dispenser opening. A divider wall extends between the opposed side walls. The divider wall extends in an elongated dimension with a lower end spaced apart from the dispenser ramp by a predetermined distance.
Abstract: Systems and methods of kitchen communication include a restaurant internet of things (IOT) system. The IOT system communicatively connects to a plurality of pieces of food treatment equipment in a kitchen. A digital reality (DR) server is operable to store or access stored graphical user interface (GUI) data for each piece of food treatment equipment. A DR headset is in communicative connection with the DR server. The DR headset is operable to project the GUI for each of the plurality of pieces of food treatment equipment in a manner for viewing by a user of the DR headset at a location relative to each of the pieces of food treatment equipment.
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a process for using saline water, and saline reject water produced in water purification, to use for gold mining production, and growing and harvesting algae. The disclosure also describes a method for growing and harvesting algae utilizing saline water as growth medium for recycling waste water to extract the remaining metals out of waste water. The harvested algae may be used in various applications including but not limited to water purification for gold mining production and to extract metals out of remaining waste water.

Abstract: A method for producing electrolytic manganese dioxide with high compact density where electrolytic manganese dioxide pieces are milled in a classifying mill to produce first milled manganese dioxide particles where 30% of the particles are larger than 200 mesh and up to 95% of the particles are smaller than 325 mesh. The first milled manganese dioxide particles are milled a second time to produce manganese dioxide particles having a second particle size distribution. Also, an electrolytic manganese dioxide particle composition, wherein when the particle size distribution of the composition is plotted as a function of base-10 logarithm of the particle size, a first peak is centered at a particle size from 40-100 ?m and contributes a minimum of 20% of the area under the curve of the overall particle size distribution and a maximum of 45% of the area under the curve of the overall particle size distribution.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for an adjustable spring plunger bumper with high initial load and low final load. The spring plunger bumper includes an exterior body surrounding a plunger. The plunger has a plunger indent into which a displacement ball is induced by a ramp sleeve biased by a ramp sleeve spring. As the plunger is displaced relative to the exterior body, the displacement ball contacts a lower displacement ball inclined surface, which provides a high initial load resisting the displacement of the plunger. However, as the displacement of the plunger continues, the displacement ball comes into contact with a smooth lower displacement ball indent surface which provides a lower load. A return spring is positioned between the plunger and the exterior body to return them to their initial position relative to each other when the displacement of the plunger is removed.
