Abstract: A fire assembly that can be used for installing recessed light fixtures into various structures is provided. The fire assembly includes a recessed light fixture contained within a generally fire-resistant housing. The housing can enclose the recessed light fixture in such a manner that the resulting fire assembly has an integral structure. In some instances, a support structure can be utilized to attach the housing to the recessed light fixture. Furthermore, the housing can be a cube-shaped box have a variety of generally fire-resistant walls. These walls can be made from materials such as sheet rock or aluminum.
Abstract: A reflector for a light fixture having elongated light elements, wherein the light fixture opens at the ceiling surface and is recessed thereabove, includes a generally cylindrical bottom section defining a circular opening. A substantially enclosed top section defines a generally rectangular, corrugated top surface and a side portion tapering inwardly from the bottom section to the top surface.
Abstract: A recessed lamp fixture having a minimal plaster frame and a lamp housing. The plaster frame comprising a mounting bracket is adapted to receive a variety of differently sized and shaped lamp housings. The housing comprises an integrated lamp and trim assembly that is retained within the housing by a biased retaining spring. The housing is designed with minimal openings for reduced heat loss and air flow. The frame further comprises an integrated junction box and hanger bar system adapted to mount the fixture behind a panel. The junction box and the lamp housing also comprise an electrical power line retaining means to securely fasten the line to the box and housing. The hanger bar is slideably attached to the frame with ends that are designed to engage ceiling and wall supporting structures without the need for additional fasteners.
Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a vertical center column, at least one light element operatively attached to the center column, and a plurality of vertical panes. An attachment mechanism is configured to attach the panes to the center column so that the panes, when attached to the center column, extend radially outward from the center column and so that the panes are releasably detachable from the center column outside the center column.

Abstract: A recessed wall lighting fixture is disclosed comprising a recessed enclosure, a tray connected to and extending out from the recessed enclosure, and means for mounting the recessed enclosure in a predetermined orientation. The recessed enclosure has a back wall and an opened face with a flange portion. The tray extends out from the flange portion and provides a platform adapted for supporting a light diffuser. The tray also has an upright partition. The platform extends from the upright partition to the flange portion of the enclosure. The tray also includes an adjustable connecting means extendable between the upright partition to the flange portion for engaging the light diffuser. The tray can be attached to either of adjacent side walls of the enclosure, thereby allowing the light diffuser associated therewith to be oriented in either a horizontal or vertical position.
