  • Patent number: 10417623
Abstract: A system and method for retrieving a plurality of indicia are described. The method includes receiving, by a computer system associated with a postage provider a request from a user, the request including a number of the plurality of indicia, and a monetary value of each of the plurality of indicia; and authenticating the request. The method further includes verifying whether sufficient funds exist in an account of the user for the number and monetary value of the plurality of requested indicia. If the request is found authentic and the computer system determines that sufficient funds exist in the account of the user for the number and monetary value of the requested indicia, extracting the plurality of indicia. The method further includes assembling in a return message the plurality of indicia as at least one binary data message; and transmitting the message to a computer associated with the user.

  • Patent number: 10183876
Abstract: A water treatment system is disclosed having electrolytic cell for liberating hydrogen from a base solution. The base solution may be a solution of brine for generating sodium hypochlorite, or potable water to be oxidized. The cell has first and second opposing electrode endplates held apart from each other by a pair of supports such that the supports enclose opposing sides of the endplates to form a cell chamber. One or more inner electrode plates are spaced apart from each other in the cell chamber in between the first and second electrode plates. The supports are configured to electrically isolate the first and second electrode plates and the inner electrode plates from each other. The first and second electrode plates are configured to receive opposite polarity charges that passively charge the inner electrode plates via conduction from the base solution to form a chemical reaction in the base solution as the base solution passes through the cell chamber.

  • Patent number: 9978725
Abstract: Provided is an LED lamp using a nano-scale LED electrode assembly. The LED lamp using the nano-scale LED electrode assembly may solve limitations in which, when a nano-scale LED device according to the related art stands up and is three-dimensionally coupled to an electrode, it is difficult to allow the nano-scale LED device to stand up, and when the nano-scale LED devices are coupled to one-to-one correspond to electrodes different from each other, product quality is deteriorated. Thus, the nano-scale LED device having a nano unit may be connected to the two electrodes different from each other without causing defects, and light extraction efficiency may be improved due to the directivity of the nano-scale LED devices connected to the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 9773761
Abstract: Provided are a nano-scale LED assembly and a method for manufacturing the same. First, a nano-scale LED device that is independently manufactured may be aligned and connected to two electrodes different from each other to solve a limitation in which a nano-scale LED device having a nano unit is coupled to two electrodes different from each other in a stand-up state. Also, since the LED device and the electrodes are disposed on the same plane, light extraction efficiency of the LED device may be improved. Furthermore, the number of nano-scale LED devices may be adjusted. Second, since the nano-scale LED device does not stand up to be three-dimensionally coupled to upper and lower electrodes, but lies to be coupled to two electrodes different from each other on the same plane, the light extraction efficiency may be very improved.
