  • Publication number: 20040060890
Abstract: A fluid distribution device, in particular of cosmetic product, of the type comprising a bottle adapted to contain the fluid and having a distribution orifice, a decorative case (8) covering the bottle, said case having a body (12a, 12b) and retaining means (24, 16) adapted to retain the body with respect to the bottle. The retaining means comprise a collar (16) integral with the decorative case and articulation means (18) connecting the collar to the body. The collar comprises an internal passage (16a) traversing the collar from one side to the other and an external section (16b) inserted tightly in the distribution orifice (6) of the bottle (12a, 12b).

  • Publication number: 20040011818
Abstract: Device for dispensing fluid, comprising a body, a push-button and locking means. The body is intended to be fixed to the neck of a bottle. The push-button can be depressed in relation to the body in an activating direction between a rest position and a depressed position in order to control fluid-dispensing means. The locking means have an active state in which they prevent the push-button from being depressed in the activating direction and an inactive state in which they allow the pressing action. In order to move the locking means from the inactive state to the active state thereof, a force must be applied to the push-button in the activating direction in order to displace the push-button, from the rest position to a locked position, by translation in relation to the body in the opposite sense to that in which it is pressed in.

  • Patent number: 5909738
Abstract: The case comprising a base (2) and a lid (3) articulated thereon includes a container (5) which can receive, for example, a more or less volatile cosmetic product which may deteriorate in contact with the ambient air. According to the invention, the case comprises a mechanism (6) enabling the container (5) to be raised when the case is closed, while ensuring sealing contact between an upper wall (15) of the container and a cooperating wall (16) of the lid. The invention can be applied especially to make-up cases.

  • Patent number: 5896866
Abstract: A case is provided for containing a product which is susceptible of deterioration in the air, and more particularly a cosmetic product. The case comprises a base for containing the cosmetic product, a cover articulated relative to the base, a locking device that maintains the cover in a closed position, and two substantially cylindrical, coaxial skirts, with a lower skirt extending from the base and an upper skirt extending from the cover, with the lower skirt capable of being inserted concentrically into the upper skirt when the cover is in a closed position, wherein when the cover is in a closed position the lower skirt is compressed axially and is therefore deformed radially in order to create a sealing contact between the upper skirt and the lower skirt.
