The plurality of grooves is configured to mate with at least a portion of the plurality of fins of the heat sink. The cover is configured to be coupled to the base and encapsulate the heat sink. The cover further includes two apertures, each aperture configured to be connected to a tube. A width of the plurality of fins of the heat sink is less than a width of the plurality of grooves of the base. A height of the heat sink is less than a height of an interior portion of the cover.

    Abstract: A cover apparatus for controlling airflow in a computing system. The cover apparatus includes a cover bracket configured to attach to the computing system in alignment with an opening of a module within the computing system. The cover bracket defines an aperture through which one or more components can be inserted into and removed from the module. The cover apparatus includes a cover door attached to the cover bracket and configured to rotate relative to the cover bracket between an open position and a closed position. The cover door closes the first aperture of the cover bracket with the cover door in the closed position. The cover apparatus includes a catch configured to apply a force to the cover door in the closed position. The force is sufficient to maintain the cover door in the closed position but allows a user to manually open the cover door for accessing the module.

The computer system includes a basic input output system (BIOS) including a POST routine executed between power-on and hand off to an operating system. A memory stores a golden image POST code sequence. The controller and BIOS receive a sequence of POST codes from the execution of the POST routine. The sequence of POST codes is compared to the golden image POST code sequence. A deviation in the POST routine is identified based on at least one POST code of the sequence of the POST codes not matching the golden image POST code sequence. The identified deviation may be analyzed for further information in a message. The message may be used to recover from the deviation.

    Abstract: A drive (e.g., hard drive) carrier can have a frame with a door that can open to permit installation of the drive and can snap shut to secure the drive within the drive carrier. The drive carrier can include a connector lock, which can take the form of a pair of pins extending from the frame and capable of engaging corresponding retention holes of a connector of a cable. The connector lock can help align the cable's connector with the drive's connector, as well as releasably lock the cable's connector in place when operatively connected to the drive. Damping couplings can couple the carrier frame to a computer chassis. The damping couplings and the flexibility of the cable vibrationally isolate the drive from the chassis, while the connector lock ensures the cable's connector does not unintentionally disconnect from the drive.

If the divided voltage is lower than the reference voltage, the control circuit will use the discharge resistor to perform a discharging operation to the output voltage at the output node.
