Abstract: A method for integrating test modules in a modular test system includes creating component categories for integrating vendor-supplied test modules and creating a calibration and diagnostics (C&D) framework for establishing a standard interface between the vendor-supplied test modules and the modular test system, where the C&D framework comprises interface classes communicating vendor-supplied module integration information. The method further includes receiving a vendor-supplied test module, retrieving module integration information from the vendor-supplied test module in accordance with the component categories, and integrating the vendor-supplied test module into the modular test system based on the module integration information using the C&D framework.

Abstract: A method for communicating test information from a source to a destination is disclosed. The method includes providing a modular test system, where the modular test system comprises a system controller for controlling at least one site controller, the at least one site controller for controlling at least one test module. The method further includes providing a datalog framework for supporting extension of user-defined datalog formats, providing support classes for supporting user-initiated datalog events, receiving a datalog event requesting for communicating input test information from the source to the destination, configuring output test information based upon the destination, the datalog framework and the support classes, and transferring the output test information to the destination.
Abstract: A method and device for authenticating a MS has an R-UIM by using CAVE Algorithm are provided. The hardware structure of the device includes a cdma2000/HRPD dual-mode chip, a User Identity Module supporting the CAVE algorithm. The dual-mode terminal forms the NAI value with the domain name stored in a memory of the dual-mode terminal in advance by the IMSI. The dual-mode terminal extracts a RAND that is necessary for the calculation of an authentication parameters from the Random values included in a Chap Challenge message, instructs the R-UIM card to use the CAVE algorithm to calculate the authentication parameters with the RAND and an exsiting SSD_A in the R-UIM card, and bears the authentication parameters by the Result domain of a Chap Response message. With the present invention, the wastes caused by the replacement of R-UIM cards can be avoided.

Abstract: A method for Access Authentication in the High Rate Packet Data Network is proposed in the present invention comprising steps of the AN-AAA receiving the Radius Access Request message sent from the HRPD AN; the AN-AAA judging whether a terminal is a roaming one according to the Network Access ID and transmits the roaming terminal's authentication information to the terminal's home nerwork. If said terminal is a local one, the AN-AAA judges the type of the terminal according to the NAI value. If said terminal is a single-mode one, the AN-AAA works out the Result2 with the MD5 algorithm. if said terminal is in dual-mode, the AN-AAA calculates the Result2 with the CAVE algorithm to compare the Result1 with the Result2.

Abstract: A method for managing a pattern object file in a modular test system is disclosed. The method includes providing a modular test system, where the modular test system comprises a system controller for controlling at least one site controller, and where the at least one site controller controls at least one test module and its corresponding device under test (DUT). The method further includes creating an object file management framework for establishing a standard interface between vendor-supplied pattern compilers and the modular test system, receiving a pattern source file, creating a pattern object metafile based on the pattern source file using the object file management framework, and testing the device under test through the test module using the pattern object metafile.

Abstract: The nail clipper contains a pair of blade bodies each having a cutting edge, a lever to be operated for bringing the cutting edges of the blade bodies into press contact with each other and a supporting shaft for linking the lever to the blade bodies; the cutting edges of the blade bodies being brought into press contact with each other by pressing the blade bodies with the lever against resilience of the blade bodies. The nail clipper is provided with bosses formed either on the lever or on the supporting shaft, so as to allow the supporting shaft to pivotally support the lever; and grooves formed on the rest of the supporting shaft and the lever, with which the bosses are engaged. Each groove has a mouth portion through which the boss is engaged and disengaged, a guiding portion capable of pivotally supporting the boss, and a connecting portion connecting the mouth portion and the guiding portion to each other.
Abstract: An edge 3 extending from a body 2 includes a plurality of recesses 4 and a plurality of projections 5, which are alternately formed in a continuous manner. The edge 3 also includes a plurality of projecting edge sections 6, each of which extends at distal and basal sides with respect to the tip of a corresponding one of the projections 5. Each projecting edge section 6 includes a distal slanted edge section 7 and a basal slanted edge section 8, which are connected to each other at the tip of the corresponding projection 5. The shape of each distal slanted edge section 7 is different from the shape of each basal slanted edge section 8.
Abstract: A razor handle includes a hard section and a soft section integrally formed and overlapping each other. On the rear surface of a gripping section, a second rear contact section of the soft section is exposed and a finger applying concave section is formed at the upper section of the second rear contact section. On the front surface of the gripping section, the first front contact section of the hard section is exposed at the boundary section with a side surface, the second front contact section of the soft section is exposed between the first front contact sections at the both boundary sections, and a concave area is formed on the upper section of the second front contact section.
Abstract: The method for distinguishing the MBMS service request from the other service request comprising steps of: sending a message to a UE by a RNC to indicate that the UE needs a RRC or a PS domain connection; sending a message to a SGSN by the UE to indicate it requires MBMS service or dedicated service; and sending different messages to the RNC by the SGSN according to the different service types or messages. This invention can make the SGSN correctly distinguish service requests initiated by different services and then adopt different operations on different service requests accordingly. This kind of differentiated operation can make the SGSN send different signaling to the RNC, which makes the RNC count the number of UEs accurately and avoid the waste of radio resources.

Abstract: A blade sharpener for grinding a kitchen knife, etc. in which two separate rotary shafts are provided in parallel, at least one whetstone is mounted on each one of the rotary shafts, the circumferential surface of the whetstone forms a grinding surface, the whetstone on one rotary shaft and the whetstone on the other rotary shaft are positionally shifted in the axial direction of the rotary shafts, and the cutting edge of the blade of kitchen knife is ground by moving the blade in the axial direction of the rotary shafts while applying the cutting edge to the grinding surfaces of the whetstones.
Abstract: A near-field optical probe has a cantilever formed of a transparent material and having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite the first main surface. A base supports the cantilever at the first main surface. A tip extends from the second main surface of the cantilever and has a microscopic aperture at an end thereof. The tip is formed of a transparent material having a higher refractive index than that of the transparent material of the cantilever to increase an amount of near-field light generated or detected by the microscopic aperture. A shade film is formed on the second main surface of the cantilever and on a surface of the tip except for the microscopic aperture.
