Abstract: The invention pertains to a method for manufacture and use of pesticides or agricultural spray adjuvants that counteracts the effects of hard water cat ions on anionic pesticides when applied in water spray solutions. The disclosed agricultural spray adjuvants include glyphosate compositions comprising a strong mineral acid, such as sulfuric acid, and a polyamine surfactant, such as tallow amine or coco amine.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cosmetic applicator brush comprising a plurality of columns, and a shaft. The shaft comprises a plurality of opening parts around a circumference of the shaft, and the plurality of opening parts are spaced around the circumference in a radial direction of the shaft. Each of the plurality of columns comprises bristles or combs. Each of bristles or combs has a projecting part, which are inserted into the plurality of columns with an equal distance or different distances among them. A number of the plurality of opening parts around the circumference of the shaft is both even and odd number. The plurality of columns are inserted into the opening parts of the shaft irregularly to show the zigzag effect of the cosmetic applicator brush.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for tracking freight. Embodiments include a tracking device for a trailer containing a load. The tracking device includes a support member, a connector, a housing and a GPS tracker configured to track the location of the load. The connector securely attaches to a container on the trailer and attaches to a seal such that the container cannot be opened without breaking the seal. The support member stabilizes the housing and protects the tracking device during transit of the load. A tracking system may implement to monitor, gather information and report on the tracking device and the load.

Abstract: According to one general aspect, an apparatus may include a plurality of sensors configured to detect a presence of a source of radiation. The apparatus may include a garment configured to be worn by a user. The garment may include a plurality of tactile feedback devices configured to automatically indicate to the user, without intervention by the user, a direction of the source of radiation.
Abstract: A cosmetic applicator comprises a grip, a holder shaft that extends from the grip, the holder shaft comprising a longitudinal axis, an applicator region, one end of the applicator region being connected to a ball stud, and a buffer element that is disposed inside the holder shaft and is in contact with one end of the ball stud. The applicator region pivots at a desired angle of up to 90° around the longitudinal axis, and is adjusted to any desired angles and any directions off the longitudinal axis. The ball stud is connected to the holder shaft. The holder shaft comprises an eye which acts as a socket for the ball stud to fit securely into and allows adjustments to be made in any direction.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a bandwidth constrained equalized transport (BCET) communication system comprises a transmitter that transmits a signal, a communication channel that transports the signal, and a receiver that receives the signal. The transmitter can comprise a pulse-shaping filter that intentionally introduces memory into the signal, and an error control code encoder that is a low-density parity-check (LDPC) error control code encoder. The error control encoder comprises code that is optimized based on the intentionally introduced memory into the signal, a code rate, a signal-to-noise ratio, and an equalizer structure in the receiver. In some embodiments, the communication system is bandwidth constrained, and the transmitted signal comprises an information rate that is higher than for an equivalent system without intentional introduction of the memory at the transmitter.
Abstract: A cosmetic applicator is provided. The cosmetic applicator comprises a grip, a holder shaft that extends from the grip, an applicator region that is connected to the holder shaft by means of an articulation, and a ball stud. The applicator region pivots at a desired angle of up to 90° arounds its axis, and is adjusted to any desired angles off a longitudinal axis of the cosmetic applicator in any direction around the axis, and the ball stud has a stopper or a protrusion at the opposite end.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of improving the performance in bandwidth constrained communication systems while reducing the complexity of the equalizer used for information retrieval, as well as to improving the capacity of communication systems. These properties are achieved by appropriate information encoding, prior to signal shaping before transmission, whereas the equalizer complexity is reduced by applying the intersymbol interference shortening filter prior to the information retrieving equalization. A proper combination of the recounted elements is capable of providing a qualitatively improved and previously unsuspected performance, as compared to its constituent elements.
Abstract: Apparatus for protecting a user from impacts to the head. The apparatus includes a shell configured to receive a human head and a plurality of structures attached to the outer surface of the shell. Each structure includes an outer cell that absorbs direct impacts. Each structure is independently coupled to the shell with a respective assembly. The structures move independently of one another and are restricted to sliding tangentially along the outer surface of the shell. The assemblies each include a biasing mechanism that absorbs tangential impacts to the structure and returns the respective structure to its rest position. Thus, a user is protected from the concussive effects of a head-on impact and the rotational acceleration injuries of a tangential impact.
Abstract: A cosmetic brush that includes a plurality of polymer bristles that extend from a polymer core in a radial direction, wherein at least a portion of the core is twisted and bristles in the twisted portion are arranged in one or more columns disposed in one or more spiral paths that extend along at least a portion of the longitudinal axis of the core is presented.
Abstract: Apparatus for protecting a user from impacts to the head. The apparatus includes a shell configured to receive a human head and a plurality of structures attached to the outer surface of the shell, where each structure is independently coupled to the shell with a respective assembly. The structures move independently of one another but are restricted to moving laterally along the outer surface of the shell. The structures each include a foam cell that reduces the magnitude of a head-on impact as the impact transfers from the foam cell to the shell. The assemblies each include an elastomeric donut that reduces the magnitude of a lateral impact as the impact is transferred from the foam cell to the donut assembly to the shell. Thus, a user is protected from the concussive effects of a head-on impact and the rotational acceleration injuries of a lateral impact.
