Abstract: A wireless device system can include lighting devices, sensing devices, and other wireless devices in a wireless mesh local area network. The devices are configured for rapid provisioning with provisioned site network data by using a process in which each device stores data for a default provisioning network, and a provisioning device, for example a smart phone or other mobile device, is used to wirelessly connect with at least one of the devices in the default provisioning network, enabling distant wireless devices to be reached by relay of messages in the default provisioning network. Devices can be individually provided a new network address, for example, from the provisioned site network data, and all devices are provided remaining data from the provisioned site network data using the mesh network broadcast feature, thus provisioning and switching devices near simultaneously from the default provisioning network to the provisioned site network.

Abstract: A mount for coupling a lighting fixture to a hanging structure includes an upper section adapted to attach to a pendant or other hanging structure and a lower section adapted to attach to the lighting fixture. The upper section includes an elongate rack and a pair of knuckles. The lower section including an elongate hanger for engaging with the elongate rack to support the lower section and the lighting fixture, including when the lower section is in an open position relative to the upper section during installation and wiring. The lower section also includes a knuckle. A locking member selectively engages the three knuckle to lock the lower section in a closes position relative to the upper section. The mount can further include removeable end covers for enclose opposite ends of the upper section.

Abstract: Circadian stimulus illumination control systems and methods are disclosed. Embodiments include a control system providing selection of a preset circadian stimulus profile, including a desired circadian stimulus level for setpoint times, for example, including a color temperature and brightness level for each setpoint time to simulate local natural sunlight conditions or a different selected lighting and/or stimulus condition. The control system wirelessly transmits information for the setpoints of the profile to lighting devices, which incrementally transition the color temperature and dimming of the lighting device between the profile setpoints.
Abstract: A wireless lighting control system for controlling lighting devices and with independent site operation is disclosed. The wireless lighting control system includes a remote server system, user computer devices, and a site system. The site system includes a gateway, a wireless mesh network, and wireless devices. The wireless devices communicate with the gateway via the wireless mesh network. The gateway communicates with the remote server system via a wide-area network. The user computer devices communicate with the remote server system and the gateway. Control information for the wireless devices is stored in the remote server system and is mirrored in the gateway so that the site system can operate independently if communication with the remote server system is lost.

Abstract: A low-profile modular lighting device with flexible installation mounting options includes a lower housing, a circuit board supported by the lower housing and having electronic devices mounted thereto, and a plurality of upper housings each configured to releasably couple to the lower housing. The electronic devices of the circuit board extend within the space defined by an interior surface and upper edge of the lower housing and within the space defined by an interior surface and lower edge of each of the plurality of upper housings when coupled to the lower housing. Each of the plurality of upper housings provide a different mounting configuration for the modular lighting device. The modular lighting device may include one or more of a motion sensor, a light sensor, and a wireless transceiver for communication with a wireless lighting system.

Abstract: An LED light fixture includes a heat dissipation structure defining a first housing member and a plurality of concentric fin sets. A circuit board is thermally coupled to a side of the first housing member opposite the concentric fin sets, a plurality of light emitters is thermally coupled and mounted to a region of the circuit board overlying a first set of concentric fins, and a driver circuit is coupled and mounted to a region of the circuit board overlying a second set of concentric fins. A reflector spans between the circuit board and a second housing member, and a lens spans between the first and second housing member and provides light transmission therethrough.
Abstract: A device for a wireless device control system for controlling lighting devices is disclosed. The device can include a wireless transceiver, a power loss detection circuit, a communication loss detection circuit, a power monitoring circuit, and an output circuit. The device is configurable to provide a preselected communication loss action upon detecting communication loss, a preselected power loss action upon detecting power loss, and a preselected load power fault action upon detecting a load power fault.

Abstract: A lighting fixture configured to expand and collapse, and methods for expanding and collapsing a light fixture are disclosed. Embodiments of the lighting fixture include a lighting fixture with a movable section that collapses into at least one cavity in a base housing for storage and shipment, and extends from the cavity for operation. In the collapsed configuration the lighting fixture fits into a smaller container than when the lighting fixture is in the expanded configuration. In some embodiments a locking member locks the movable section into its extended position and can be retracted by a user by manually disengaging the locking member. Accessories and extenders that can be attached to the lighting fixture can be stored in the one or more cavities into which the movable section is stowed in the collapsed configuration.
Abstract: A light fixture includes a central housing, a panel, a light source, and a tether. The central housing defines first and second side surfaces and a bottom surface, and the bottom surface defines a plane. The panel is pivotably coupled with the first side surface, and the light source is coupled with the panel. The tether is coupled at one end with the panel to pivotably suspend the panel, and the second end of the tether includes an attachment member. The attachment member is configured to selectively couple with any one of a plurality of anchor positions located on the central housing. The panel is therefore fixable between a plurality of angles relative to the plane as determined by the attachment member being coupled with a selected one of the plurality of anchor positions.

Abstract: Systems and methods that permit initial selection of a lighting fixture output characteristic and inhibit later change of the lighting fixture output characteristic are disclosed. Embodiments include one or more devices that inhibit a lighting fixture control switch from being moved between two different positions. In some embodiments the control switch extends through an aperture in the a housing of the lighting fixture and the one or more devices are inserted into the aperture and embrace the control switch in one of the control switch's operational positions. In some embodiments the configuration of the apertures and the devices permits the devices to be inserted into the apertures in a single orientation. Some embodiments include devices with an outer surface that defines the switch embracing portion, and some embodiments include devices that are difficult to remove by hand after insertion into the aperture.
