Abstract: The invention is a molded flexible heavy-duty floor mat with attached metal wear plates designed to fit in the floor compartment area of a car, van, pick-up truck, sport utility or work vehicle. The floor mat surface is texturized with raised protrusions and ridges to provide non-slip shoe traction and shoe scraping surfaces. The floor mat has recessed areas, indentations, and channels to collect scraped or loosened debris and moisture. A peripheral double lip or wall contains the debris and moisture on the floor mat. The attached wear plates are texturized for additional scraping and traction purposes and are attached in areas of the floor mat which are most susceptible to wear, such as near the vehicle pedals and in the stepping area of the floor mat. The floor mat has back gripping area to secure and maintain the mat against the vehicle floor. The mat may be readily cleaned by removing the entire mat out from the vehicle.
Abstract: A portable utility light includes base support with a rechargeable battery. A light assembly is electrically connected to the rechargeable battery in the base support through a power cord removably connected to the base support. The power cord is adapted for selective connection to an auxiliary power source to provide a direct auxiliary power source for the light assembly. A power supply mechanism is also connected to a second connection portion of the base support to provide another power source to either charge the battery, power the light assembly or both. Another power cord may be employed to facilitate recharging the battery through the auxiliary power source. The work light thus provides multiple sources of power for the light as well as multiple sources of power for recharging the battery.
Abstract: A plurality of mounting feet securely attach a power inverter to a body. The tabs are to be adjustably or pivotally mounted on the under carriage of the power inverter such that they may be positioned by the user when mounting to a body. When mounted, the tabs absorb vibrations from the host body and prevent the power inverter from resulting damage. During shipping or storage the tabs are retracted to the underside of the power inverter to minimize space required by the power inverter. The tabs are made from elastomeric electrical insulator material in order to ensure a proper ground is maintainer as long as the power inverter is secured via the tabs.
Abstract: A wireless remotely controlled power retractable antenna for a vehicle radio system. A power retractable antenna is provided with a receiver/controller. Rather than rely on signals from the radio or other hard-wired device, the receiver/controller is adapted to receive a signal from a hand held transmitter. The hand held transmitter has up and down buttons for sending a specific signal representative of the desired antenna position. When it is desired to raise the antenna, the up button is depressed and the transmitter sends an up signal to the receiver/controller. When the antenna is desired in the down position, the down button is simply depressed and the transmitter sends a down signal to the receiver/controller. The controller operates a motor to drive the antenna in accordance with the received signal.
