  • Publication number: 20090293977
Abstract: A piston accumulator (10) comprises a pressure chamber (40) which on one side is closed by a piston (50) axially displaceable in a pipe (20) in order to change its volume depending on the axial position of the piston (50). A detent mechanism is provided in order to hold back the piston (50) against a spring preload (190) in a second position differing from a first position. The piston (50) is formed in a multi-part fashion and comprises at least a first piston part (52) and a second piston part (54), wherein at least one of the two piston parts (52) is hardened and disposed to cooperate with the detent mechanism in a catching fashion.

  • Publication number: 20090145501
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated piston slide valve (1) with proportional characteristic comprises an axially movable piston (5) for closing radial passage openings (7). So as to change, with a cross-sectional area of the fluid passage openings (7) given by the magnetic drive, a parabolic course of the pressure loss at an increasing flow rate into a largely linear to degressive course, there is provided a pressure-sensing bore (9), which connects the fluid entrance side, at which pressure P1 is present, with the fluid exit side, at which pressure P2 is present. In the pressure-sensing bore (9) is axially displaceably disposed a pressure-sensing pin (10) and pushes, when pressure P1 is greater than pressure P2, the slide piston (5) into its open position. Thereby the free cross-sectional area of the fluid passage openings (7) increases, and the pressure loss ?P=P1?P2 decreases correspondingly.

  • Publication number: 20090094975
Abstract: The hydraulic chamber (2) of a hydraulic swivel motor comprises a lateral opening which is closed by means of a cover (8). The seal of the hydraulic chamber with respect to the surroundings is achieved by a circumferential cover seal (12) which is produced by friction stir welding. The weld root (12?) extends to the vicinity of the faces of a sealing strip (10) which is provided between a shaft (4) and the cover (8) for separating two working chambers (A, B). This measure prevents leakage to the surroundings, on the one hand, and minimizes leakage between the working chambers (A, B), on the other hand.

  • Patent number: 7413235
Abstract: A load-controlled actuating arrangement utilizes a control loop that includes at least one position measuring system, a control unit and at least one measuring system of an electric motor or at least one pressure sensor of a pressure circuit. The signals of the measuring system of the electric motor or of the pressure sensor are transmittable to the control unit and the motion of the convertible top is adjustable by the control unit.

  • Patent number: 7232177
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for swiveling the parts of a convertible vehicle top, which consists at least of two cinematically linked parts, between a locked position and a put-down position and vice versa. To simplify the arrangement and to make it more effective, an intermediate bearing is carried at the body in such a way that it can be swiveled and it is coupled at one side to the body via a flexibly actuated connection element and at the other side it is coupled to one of the swiveling parts of the convertible top of the vehicle. A drive unit is provided at the intermediate bearing for swiveling the convertible top parts. At the body, a fixed control stop is positioned for a stop element that is mounted at the swiveling part of the convertible top that is coupled to the intermediate bearing.

  • Patent number: 7172171
Abstract: Controllable solenoid valve in which, due to the interaction between a magnetic force caused by an electrical flow and a spring force acting against the magnetic force, at least one first sealing body in the interior of a valve housing is displaced in axial direction between two final positions whereby moving relative to its first sealing seat. The interior extends from one electromagnet to a connection. To enable, in a simple manner, a specific reproducible influencing of the sequence speed of cylinder controls in hydraulic drives and to prevent uncontrolled movements by these drives, the first sealing seat up to the first sealing body is provided with an axially extending cylindrical housing inside of which a slide is axially displaced according to the electrical flow.
