Abstract: A termination for a high-voltage electric cable includes an insulating housing, a fastening device fastening a first section of the termination to a mounting base, an electrical duct extending inside the insulating housing along a longitudinal axis of the insulating housing from the first section to a top end of the termination, the first section arranged between the top end of the termination and a second end of the termination, and a conductor shank disposed at the top end for fastening an electrical conductor to the electrical duct. The fastening device is a fastening ring that is electrically insulating and rigid. The electrical duct includes an electrically conductive tube and a connection portion attaching to a cable connector of the high-voltage electric cable. The fastening ring at least partly encompasses the electrical duct.
