Abstract: A suspension strut including an air spring unit and a damper unit that are aligned on a common axis is disclosed. The air spring unit includes a rolling tube having a flared terminal end that extends over a damper tube associated with the damper unit. The damper tube has a circumferential groove formed in an outer diameter of the damper tube. A retaining ring has a greater outer diameter than the outer diameter of the damper tube and is positioned in the circumferential groove. A base has an inner diameter less than the outer diameter of the retaining ring, and an outer diameter smaller than the predetermined diameter of the flared free end, and is supported on the retaining ring. A torsion element fits around the damper tube and within the flared free end.

Abstract: The disclosed bushing assembly has a housing with a central bore for receiving a bushing sleeve that is dimensioned to fit a predetermined sway bar. The housing and sleeve have various combinations of mating projections and recesses that secure the sleeve in the housing. A bushing kit has a plurality of sleeves that are dimensioned to fit different predetermined sway bars and an appropriate sleeve can be selected at the time of installation. The housing and the sleeve are flexible.

Abstract: A retaining ring for securing a pump to a tank. The ring has a circular body with an outer dimension selected to surround a pump opening in the fuel tank. An interior opening has a diameter that is selected to contact a portion of a pump housing that is placed in the tank. The retaining ring is fastened or attached directly to the tank.

Abstract: A Power Transfer Unit (PTU) has a housing with at least one side having an outer surface. One or more standoffs are provided at the at least one side of the housing and extend outward from the outer surface of the housing. A thermal deflector formed as a flat plate is attached to the standoffs at a predetermined distance from the outer surface of the housing. The flat plate deflects heat from nearby components, such as the catalytic converter and/or exhaust pipe, away from the PTU.

Abstract: A drain petcock having a central channel for drainage, a side wall aperture for draining, and a closing plug that closes the central channel and overlies the side wall aperture. The partial removal of the closing plug enables a controlled flow for initial draining. A full removal of the closing plug enables a more controlled flow through the central channel for further draining.

The housing enclosing the coil bobbin attaches to the valve body to unify the coil bobbin and valve body as a solenoid.
