  • Publication number: 20220346543
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and analyzing activities of a user operating an electric tooth brush having an electric motor. The magnetic field induced by motions of the electric motor can be detected by a sensor array to generate signals. The signals are processed to determine a position of the brush head and a roll angle of the brush head. Based on the position and roll angle of the brush head, the surface of the teeth of the user, which is being brushed by the brush head, can be determined. This operation can be repeated to determine whether all the surfaces of the teeth have been brushed.
