Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of asthma comprising Wogonin as an active ingredient. The Wogonin of the present invention is excellent not only in relieving airway hypersensitivity that causes asthma in vivo, in inhibiting reactive oxygen species generation in the airway, and in inhibiting the infiltration of inflammatory cells in the bronchus, but also in inhibiting the generation of IgE in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, and in inhibiting the expressions of Th2 cytokines in the lung. Therefore, the Wogonin of the present invention can be effectively used as a composition for the prevention, treatment, or improvement of asthma.

Abstract: A display panel based on a segmented parallax barrier according to the present invention includes the segmented parallax barrier disposed in a front or back of an image panel and configured to block a specific part of an image displayed through the image panel and wherein the segmented parallax barrier is configured to connect fine transparent electrodes belonging to an identical group through a transparent electrode, from among fine transparent electrodes grouped in specific patterns, so that voltage is supplied to the fine transparent electrodes without an additional feed line assigned to each fine transparent electrode. Accordingly, the production cost of a TN-LCD panel based on a segmented parallax barrier can be reduced, and a TN-LCD panel having excellent barrier pattern characteristics can be easily manufactured.

Abstract: Provided is a method for suppressing a circulating current in a modular multi-level converter for a high voltage direction-current (HVDC) transmission system. The HVDC transmission system converts an alternating current (AC) into a direct current (DC) and vice versa, transmits energy using a DC cable, and including a modular multilevel converter generating a high voltage source by stacking a plurality of sub-modules in series. In the circulating current suppression method, a circulating current (idiffj; j=a,b,c) of a,b,c phase in an abc 3-phase stationary reference frame, a DC current (idc) flowing in a DC cable, a current reference value (i*dc) of a DC component that needs to flow in the DC cable are inputted. Abstract: An electrostatic force generator is disclosed. The electrostatic force generator includes an RF AC voltage source, a capacitive module, a resonant capacitive-inductive bridge (CIB) module, a lock-in amplifier module, and a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. The resonant capacitive-inductive bridge module converts the differential capacitance to a differential signal. The differential signal from the resonant capacitive-inductive bridge module is demodulated at the RF excitation frequency by the lock-in amplifier module. The PID controller receives the output signal from the lock-in amplifier module and generates two audio frequency AC signals to generate a compensation electrostatic force and maintain the capacitance balance inside the capacitive module.

Abstract: A wireless transmission method, a base station, a relay station, and a mobile station using the same methods are proposed.
