Abstract: A vibration reduction device having an acoustic meta structure mounted to a vehicle body and configured to block a structure-borne noise transmitted through the vehicle body may include a plurality of unit structures arranged at a predetermined interval therebetween, wherein each of the unit structures includes frame mounted to the vehicle body and configured to separate a predetermined space into a predetermined number of separate sections formed by walls of the frame; and a vibrator formed at a corner portion of each of the separate sections and each of which has a natural frequency to block a vibration transmitted from the vehicle body through the frame.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide an apparatus for adjusting a light beam that includes a microelectromechanical system (MEMS), a non-MEMS system. Abstract: One dimensional (1D) and two dimensional (2D) MR spectroscopy of the brain provides an objective test for pain and level of pain. There are two ways of evaluating the data. The first is conventional analysis of the 2D MRS. The second us the use of data mining methods such as testing for correlation between wavelet-based features and self-reported pain intensity, the MBDA method. Both found multiple spectral regions that were highly correlated with self-reported pain. Two of these spectral regions are consistent with changes to the recently assigned substrate ?-L Fucose and the Fuc-?(1-2) glycans in the human brain. There are common features recorded compared with prior reports using the MBDA method to evaluate pain associated with spinal cord injury and low back pain.

Abstract: A sensor is provided that is capable of sensing a level of a parameter in an environment surrounding the sensor, wirelessly transmitting data regarding the level of the parameter to another device, and converting a wireless signal to a current and powering the sensors with the current. The sensor may measure capacitance data and transmit the data to a computer to be converted into temperature readings. The sensor may provide temperature readings from multiple locations within a container into which the sensor is placed.
