Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a method of determining methylation state and chromatin structure of target loci. The method comprises treating the genetic material obtained from the cells with DNA methyltransferase, capturing target genetic loci using a set of oligonucleotides, ligating the target loci with oligonucleotide patches that flank the target loci, treating the target loci flanked by oligonucleotide patches with bisulfite, optionally amplifying the target loci by polymerase chain reaction, sequencing the PCR products, and analyzing the sequences to determine methylation state and chromatin structure of the target loci. The current invention also provides a method to identify genes associated with a disease. The invention also provides a method to detect cells suffering from a disease in a group of cells. The current invention also provides kits suitable for carrying out the method of determining methylation state and chromatin structure of the target loci.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for combined cycle power generation while reducing or mitigating emissions during power generation. Recycled exhaust gas from a molten carbonate fuel cell power generation reaction can be separated by using a swing adsorption process so as to generate a high purity CO2 stream while reducing or minimizing the energy required for the separation and without having to reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas. A high temperature adsorption reactor adsorbs the CO2 and recovers H2 from an exhaust gas of a first molten carbonate fuel cell at a high temperature and at a low pressure. The reactor passes along the adsorbed CO2 to a cathode and the recovered H2 to an anode of a second molten carbonate fuel cell for further power generation. This can allow for improved energy recovery while also generating high purity streams of CO2 and H2.

Abstract: An inlet check valve intended to be entirely located within an internal volume delimited by a liquid tank of a vehicle and a filler pipe welded to the tank, the filler pipe defining a downstream direction followed by a liquid filling the tank, and an upstream direction opposite thereto the inlet check valve comprising a tube and, at the upstream end of the tube, resilient means for adapting the form of the tube to the internal wall of the filler pipe. The inlet check valve comprises hook means for securing the tube to an internal wall of the filler pipe and prevent the inlet check valve from moving within the filler pipe. The tube bears a skirt ending with an edge which can merge with the filler pipe wall when the latter is welded to the tank, making the edge a seal part of the inlet check valve.

Abstract: Techniques are generally described that relate to a method and system for selecting an advertisement for a subscriber of a multi-platform service operating over a transmission medium. An advertisement computer presents advertisements to the subscriber over a platform included in the multiplatform service. Each of the advertisements is associated with a geographic location. The advertisement computer may receive positive responses to the presentment of the plurality of advertisements and define a target geographic area. A plurality of local advertisement responses from the positive responses are selected by the advertisement computer. Each local advertisement response is associated with a location inside the defined target geographic area.
