    Abstract: Techniques are presented to provide personalized search results to a user. A user history optionally classified into projects or tasks is determined. A profile for the user is determined by identifying keywords, concepts or other user and/or task specific descriptors within user history documents. A proximal neighborhood based on the user's history and adjustable crawling parameters is determined. The adjustable crawling parameters define which documents linked to documents in the user history are included within the proximal neighborhood. A user query is determined and used to search the set of documents within the proximal neighborhood. The results are then ranked based on the user profile information. The ranked results are optionally displayed to the user.

When heat is applied to one end of the annular resonator, a traveling acoustic wave is generated in the annular resonator causing vibrations in the working fluid that actuate the electro-mechanical transducer to generate electricity.

    Abstract: A hole filling method for multi-view disparity maps is provided. At least one disparity map is respectively captured as a plurality of known views among a plurality of views for capturing an object. As for a plurality of virtual views among the views excluding the at least one known view, disparity maps of the virtual views are synthesized by sequentially using the disparity maps of the known views according to a distance of a virtual camera position or a transformed angle between each virtual view and each known view. Hole filling information of the disparity maps of other virtual views having the distances or the transformed angles smaller than that of the virtual view is used to fill holes in the synthesized disparity maps of the virtual views.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of producing high purity SiOx nanoparticles with excellent volatility and an apparatus for producing the same, which enables mass production of SiOx nanoparticles by melting silicon through induction heating and injecting gas to a surface of the molten silicon. The apparatus includes a vacuum chamber, a graphite crucible into which raw silicon is charged, the graphite crucible being mounted inside the vacuum chamber, an induction melting part which forms molten silicon by induction heating of the silicon material received in the graphite crucible, a gas injector which injects a gas into the graphite crucible to be brought into direct contact with a surface of the molten silicon, and a collector disposed above the graphite crucible and collecting SiOx vapor produced by reaction between the molten silicon and the injected gas.

    Abstract: Multi-wing hovering and gliding flapping Micro Air Vehicles (“MAV”) are disclosed. The MAV can have independent wing control to provide enhance energy efficiency and high maneuverability. Power to each wing can be controlled separately by varying the amplitude of the wing flapping, the frequency of the wing flapping, or both. The flapping frequency can be controlled such that it is at or near the natural frequency of the wings for improved energy efficiency. The wings can be controlled by a gear train, coil-magnet arrangement or many other actuation systems that enable variable frequency flapping, variable amplitude flapping, or a combination of both. The gear train mechanism provides gyroscopic stability during flight. The wing flapping can include a rotation, or feathering motion, for improved efficiency. The wings can be transitioned between flapping flight and fixed wing flight to enable gliding and hovering in a single configuration.
