Abstract: A method of performing magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) measures neurochemical profiles over larger regions non-invasively. The method includes transmitting a multi-slice excitation pulse through tissue, the multi-slice excitation pulse configured to generate multi-slice MRSI signals. The method also includes performing density weighted concentric ring acquisition on the multi-slice MRSI signals. The method further includes receiving the generated multi-slice MRSI signals in a plurality of sensors disposed in various locations around the tissue. Imaging data is reconstructed based on the acquired imaging signals. A representation of the data is displayed.
Abstract: The present invention provides an antimicrobial peptide ID13 (with a sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO. 1), a preparation method and use thereof. The antimicrobial peptide ID3 is successfully expressed in Pichia pastoris using genetic engineering technology. The antimicrobial peptide ID13 of the present invention has an excellent bactericidal activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Streptococcus suis, and has a low hemolytic activity against mouse red blood cells and a low murine macrophage cytotoxicity.

Abstract: A multiplexing scheme for both energy and timing information is provided for a particle detection system having an optical sensor array with multiple optical sensors. The benthonic animal isolation frame includes side surfaces and a bottom surface of the isolation frame as hollow structures. Joints of the side surfaces and the bottom surface are provided with clamping grooves. The bottom surface is provided with a filter membrane; and the filter membrane is fixed on the bottom surface through the clamping grooves. The benthonic animal isolation frame can be used for easily studying the influence of the benthonic animal and excrement thereof on a water body ecological system.
