  • Patent number: 7124581
Abstract: A drive mechanism for an injection molding machine has an output element that is moveable in a straight line and an electric motor drive unit having an electric motor and a piston-cylinder unit which has a first piston-cylinder unit in the force chain between the output element of the electric-motor drive unit and the movable component. A rapid actuating movement is possible and, the action of a high force is also achievable wherein a second piston-cylinder unit and a third piston-cylinder unit. A fluidic connection between the first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber is controllable via a valve. When the valve is open, the second hydraulic piston displaces pressurized liquid from the second cylinder chamber into the first cylinder chamber, to actuate the movable component and, when the valve is closed, the third hydraulic piston displaces pressurized liquid from the third cylinder chamber into the first cylinder chamber to exert a high force on the movable component.

  • Publication number: 20060218914
Abstract: A hydraulic control arrangement is disclosed for the control of a consumer, comprising at least one mechanically operated continuously adjustable distribution valve with a subsequent LUDV pressure compensator down the line. In order to lock the consumer the control arrangement is provided with a spring holding the pressure compensator piston in a closed position. Furthermore, the LS line carrying the highest load pressure of all consumers is connected to a reservoir by means of a flow regulator, wherein the pump control may also be relieved by the flow regulator in the sense of a reduction of the pumped volume. According to the invention, the LUDV pressure compensator is pressure-compensated by means of a nozzle through which a connection between the LS line and a portion of the pressure medium flow path downstream of the pump and upstream of the outlet of the pressure compensator is generated. Said nozzle is preferably integrated in the pressure compensator piston.

  • Patent number: 7095141
Abstract: The invention relates to a synchronous AC electric motor with concentrated windings (2), whereby one primary side pole is comprised of a series of toothed-modules (4) with each toothed-module (4) being connected in the correct electrical phase sequence to a corresponding phase (11) of the motor electrical supply (5). In order to provide a highly optimized concentrated winding motor design applicable equally to either linear or rotating machines, which retains the performance benefits of existing concentrated-winding motors it is proposed that neighboring modules (4) are wound so as to have alternating polarities, whereby the number of toothed-modules (4) comprising a primary side pole is exactly equal to twice the number of motor phases (5), and that the motor is designed to operate using an air-gap flux component which is harmonic of the fundamental phase current frequency.

  • Patent number: 7093613
Abstract: With a magnet arrangement for an electromechanical drive with a cylindrical armature guided in a pole tube, the position of the armature is transformed into an electrical signal. Provided for this is a displacement sensor which is connected to the armature and has a fixed part and a movable part. One side of the armature is formed such that it transfers the movement of the armature, and the other side of the armature is connected to the movable part of the displacement sensor. The pole tube is provided with a closure part on the side of the displacement sensor. A pressure tube is led to the outside through an axial clearance of the closure part. The movable part of the displacement sensor moves in the pressure tube. The pressure tube is enclosed by the fixed part of the displacement sensor. In order to prevent the displacement sensor from being damaged by vibrations, the fixed part of the displacement sensor is arranged in a clearance of the closure part.

  • Patent number: 7090475
Abstract: A hydraulic control circuit for a radial piston engine with two speeds. The changeover between the speeds takes place through the alteration of the absorption volume, the delivery side being connected to the discharge side with a bypass connection by a valve arrangement for a selected number of engine pistons. The control circuit provides a space-saving way of ensuring that the changeover between speeds occurs smoothly and in such a manner to preserve the individual components as far as possible. To this end, at least one intermediate switching position, in which the delivery side is throttled to the discharge side, i.e. connected by a diaphragm-type arrangement, is provided in front of valve arrangement between the two end switching positions. The valve arrangement is preferably driven such that a valve body can be moved through the intermediate switching position at a controlled speed.
