Abstract: A hydraulic transformer wherein a multiplicity of displacers are guided in a displacement member. The stroke of the displacers is determined through the intermediary of a cam element, with pressure medium supply and discharge being controlled through the intermediary of a control member having at least three control grooves. In accordance with the invention either the displacement member or the cam element or the control member may be driven, whereas—depending on which component is driven—the cam element or the displacement member is mounted so as to be freely adjustable, and the remaining third component is accommodated integral with the housing.
Abstract: A tensioning device (32) for tensioning at least two, substantially length-invariant belts (18, 24) includes a first belt (18) guided about a first axis (A), which repeatedly guides an adjusting movement in an adjustment direction substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the first axis (A). In addition, the first belt (18) and a second belt (24) are guided about a common second axis (B), whereby the tensioning directions (V18, V24) of the first belt (18) and of the second belt (24) in a region of the second axis (B) forms a varying angle of between 0° and 180°.

Abstract: An electromechanical clamping device with hydraulic assistance. A thrust mechanism driven by an electric motor displaces two clamping jaws with respect to each other along a guide device. One clamping jaw is divided into two mutually displaceable part java. A chamber to hold pressure medium is formed between the part jaws. The first part jaw can be displaced along the guide device and locked with respect to the latter. One part jaw is provided with a first cylinder coupled to the output of the thrust mechanism. In order to close the clamping device, in a first step the thrust mechanism pulls the part jaws against the other clamping jaw, and in a second step the thrust mechanism delivers pressure medium from the first cylinder into the chamber between the two part jaws, with the first part jaw locked with respect to the guide device.
Abstract: A valve assembly includes at least one multiport valve for controlling and applying pressure to a pneumatic unit and a base plate having passageways for supplying compressed fluid to a multiport valve and for draining compressed fluid from the multiport valve. Interposed between the base plate and the multiport valve is a grid plate for functional differentiation of the valve assembly and determination of the valve assembly function.

Abstract: A free-piston engine directed to reduced throttling losses at minimum expenditure is provided. The free-piston engine has an engine piston, and a hydraulic piston co-operating with the engine piston. The engine piston may receive application of a force in the direction of compression via a hydraulic cylinder. A pressure in a high-pressure accumulator means or a low-pressure accumulator may be communicated to the hydraulic cylinder via a switchover valve. Between the hydraulic cylinder and the switchover valve is a valve assembly including a control piston. A connection to the high-pressure accumulator means may be controlled open with the aid of the control land of the control piston.
Abstract: A drive mechanism is disclosed which includes a hydraulic pump whereby at least two hydraulic engines may be supplied with pressure medium. The drive mechanism in accordance with the invention has on the meter-in side or on the meter-out side of each hydraulic engine a variable hydraulic resistor that is biased into a basic position of minimum open cross-section and may be subjected to a control pressure in a direction of increased open cross-section. This control pressure is dependent on the pressure on the meter-in side or on the meter-out side of the hydraulic engine.

Abstract: According to the invention, the coil of a magnet coil arrangement has a coil body which comprises a winding (14) and is extruded with plastic (17). A plug-in base with contact connectors is formed on the coil, wherein one of the connectors is used for connection of the grounding conductor (18). A metallic housing is placed over the coil. Connection of said metallic housing to the contact connector associated to the grounding conductor is achieved by means of a connection element which is guided through a recess of the plug-in base. A sealing element (42) disposed between the connection element and the recess prevents penetration of a fluid from a region between the metallic housing and the coil, into the region where a connector is connected to the contact connectors.

Abstract: An electromagnet (10) for actuating a hydraulic on-off valve (11), has a wet-type configuration and its armature (31) is displaced in a pressure pipe (18) when a volume of oil is switched through a throttling site (35) in such a way that switching speed can be influenced. The electromagnet (10) has a manual emergency actuation device (43) in the pressure pipe (18). If necessary, the actuating bolts (44) of said device can be engaged with a throttle screw (39) by an interlocking connection (45, 42) in order to displace said throttle screw that is arranged in the armature (31). The switching speed of the distributing valve (11) can be easily regulated from the outside when the electromagnets (10) are mounted, without impairing functioning of the manual emergency actuation device.
Abstract: A pneumatic slide valve includes a valve housing made of injection-molded plastic material and having a valve bore and a plurality of external ports. The valve housing has an outer housing portion, made of reinforced plastic and determinative for a geometric outer dimension of the valve housing, and an inner housing portion made of non-reinforced plastic and extending continuously in the valve housing. The inner housing portion defines several pressure fluid compartments in fluid communication with the ports and the valve bore at least in a region which is positioned in the area of the pressure fluid compartments, wherein the outer housing portion is molded around the inner housing portion. A slide member is accommodated in the valve bore of the valve housing for displacement in the direction of the axis, for regulating a flow of compressed air between the ports.
Abstract: An unlockable non-return valve reduces the tendency of the poppet piston to jam by providing a first insert that has a guide diameter for the poppet piston over just a short section of its end side facing the piston collar, and wherein a supporting ring is arranged axially between the high-pressure seal and the first insert in a receiving element, the diameter of which is substantially smaller than the outside diameters of the inserts, the supporting ring likewise being produced from a metallic material having good sliding properties and being produced with a narrow clearance from the end section of the poppet piston and with a large radial clearance from the receiving element.

Abstract: A drive for a movable part, such as a mold closure platen, includes two hydraulic cylinder-and-piston units defining first and third pressure chambers in a first of the hydraulic units and defining fourth and fifth pressure chambers in a second of the hydraulic units, and wherein the piston of one of the hydraulic units is a stepped piston defining a second pressure chamber, thereby providing five pressure chambers. An arrangement of valves provides for selective coupling of hydraulic fluid among the pressure chambers whereby pressure medium is forced from one of the hydraulic units, during an advance of its piton, to the other of the hydraulic units.
Abstract: In an arrangement comprising a motor/pump unit and a sound-deadening cover, the sound-deadening cover absorbs the airborne noise emitted by the motor/pump unit. On the other hand, the sound-deadening cover acts like the diaphragm of a loudspeaker for the structureborne noise emanating from the motor/pump unit. In order to absorb the structureborne noise as well, the sound-deadening cover is constructed as a sound-deadening hood, and is placed over the motor/pump unit in the operating condition, without touching it. During transportation, the sound-deadening hood and the motor/pump unit are supported on one another. The arrangement is used to absorb sound from units comprising a pump and a motor driving the latter.
Abstract: A double pressure cylinder arrangement including a first pressure cylinder and a second pressure cylinder positioned in a spaced and axis-parallel relationship to the first pressure cylinder. Abstract: An electrical voltage arrangement to be provided with selectively different electrical input variables, for example in the form of a unidirectional voltage, a bidirectional voltage or a unidirectional current, can be converted into an impressed electrical output voltage. At the same time, there is to be a predefined relationship between the input variable and the output voltage. The circuit arrangement contains a first arithmetic circuit which converts a voltage fed to it into a first impressed voltage, and a second arithmetic circuit which converts an input voltage fed to it into a second impressed voltage. The voltage which is present at the input terminals of the circuit arrangenent is fed to the first arithmetic circuit. The voltage which drops across a resistor which can be connected to the input terminals of the circuit arrangement is fed to the second arithmetic circuit.
