Abstract: The present invention provides a resin composition comprising 50 to 99 percent by weight of a completely amorphous polyester resin (A), and 1 to 50 percent by weight of a graft copolymer (B) obtained by graft-polymerizing a methacrylic acid ester and a vinyl aromatic compound with conjugated diene rubber particles and/or a graft copolymer (C) obtained by graft-polymerizing a methacrylic acid ester and a vinyl aromatic compound with acrylic rubber particles. According to the present invention, a resin composition and a resin sheet specifically suitable for membrane pressing, vacuum pressing, air pressing, and the like are provided, in which the resin composition and the resin sheet have superior properties, such as workability, moldability, impact resistance, transparency, and the like. In addition, plate-out is not significantly observed and whitening during embossing and heat-sealing is unlikely to occur.
Abstract: A fire-retardant resin composition, comprising: a thermoplastic resin component (A) of (a) a (hydrogenated) block copolymer mainly made of a vinyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene compound, (b) a nonaromatic-series softener for rubber, (c) an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer, (d1) an ethylene copolymer with either/vinyl acetate (meth)acrylic acid or meth/acrylate, (e) a polypropylene resin, and (f) a modified polyethylene resin; and (g) an organic peroxide, (h) a (meth)acrylate-series and/or allyl-series crosslinking aid, and a metal hydrate (B), wherein a specific amount of the metal hydrate (B) is one pretreated with a silane coupling agents.

Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomeric resin composition for powder molding, comprising a composition prepared by dynamically vulcanizing (a) a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene compound, and/or a hydrogenated block copolymer thereof, (b) a non-aromatic softening agent for rubber, (c) a peroxide-decomposing olefinic resin, (d) an unsaturated glycidyl compound, (e) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, and (f) a liquid polybutadiene, and (h) at least one material selected from the group consisting of polyester, polyurethane, and polyamide polymers and copolymers; characterized in that (p) a compound represented by the following chemical formula (I) is also comprised:
H2C═CH—CH2—O—(CnH2nO)m—X (I)
wherein n is an integer of from 2 to 5, CnH2n may be branched, x represents H or CH═CH2, m is the number of the repeating unit, CnH2nO, and a number average molecular weight of the compound is in a range of from 200 to 6,000.
