Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting symptoms of occupant illness is disclosed herein. In embodiments, a storage is configured to maintain a visualization application and data from one or more sources, such as an image source. A processor is in communication with the storage and a user interface. The processor is programmed to receive data from the one or more sources, execute human-detection models based on the received data, execute activity-recognition models to recognize symptoms of illness based on the data from the one or more sources, determine a location of the recognized symptoms, and execute a visualization application to display information in the user interface. The visualization application can show a background image with an overlaid image that includes an indicator for each location of recognized symptom of illness. Additionally, data from the audio source, image source, and/or radar source can be fused.
Abstract: A method for generating a map display for vehicles. The method includes receiving vehicle sensor data; ascertaining poses of the vehicles based on the vehicle sensor data; generating subsets of the plurality of poses by combining poses of drives that have been carried out on an identical subsection of the route, a course of the respective subsection of the route being described by the vehicle sensor data assigned to the poses of every subset; generating sub-segments of the map display based on the subsets of the poses, for each subset a sub-segment being generated, and a course of the traffic lane within a sub-segment corresponding to one of the subsets being ascertained based on the poses of a subset; interpreting the sub-segments as nodes of a graph display of the map display and connecting sub-segments via edges of the graph display.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a battery back for a hand-held power tool comprising a battery pack housing. An interface of the battery pack housing has contact elements for contacting corresponding counter contact elements on the hand-held power tool and/or the charging device. A battery pack electronics system comprises a charge current path and a discharge current path. The charge current path is designed to connect the contact elements to the battery cell during a charging of the at least one battery cell, while the discharge current path is designed to connect the contact elements to the battery cell during a discharging of the at least one battery cell. The charge current path and the discharge current path are at least partially electrically separate from one another. Abstract: A device and method for determining a knowledge graph. A second embedding is determined for a first embedding for a word including a function. A first classification, which determines whether or not the word is an entity for the knowledge graph, or which defines to which entity or to which type of entity for the knowledge graph the word in the knowledge graph is to be assigned, is determined for the second embedding using a first classifier. A second classification, which defines to which type of embeddings from a plurality of types of embeddings the second embedding is to be assigned, is determined for the second embedding using a second classifier. Abstract: An air supply to an internal combustion engine, which includes at least one cylinder and a heater. A first air duct is provided for supplying air to the at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine for operating the internal combustion engine and a second air duct is provided for supplying air to a heater for heating an exhaust system of the internal combustion engine. The first and second air ducts are connected by a third air duct to an air filter, for providing filtered ambient air to the internal combustion engine. The first and second air ducts in each case have at least one control element for controlling the amount of air flowing through. The second and third air ducts in each case have a mass flow sensor for measuring a mass of the air flowing through the relevant air duct. Methods and devices for diagnosing the air supply are also described.

Abstract: An automatic cruise control system on a motorcycle capable of performing an overtake maneuver via a long button press. The automatic cruise control includes a radar, a button, and a motorcycle speed. The radar is configured to detect objects in front of the motorcycle and generate data regarding the detected object. The button is configured to generate a button signal. The radar is further configured to receive the motorcycle speed, sensor data, and a button signal, and to generate an acceleration signal based upon the sensor data, the button signal, and the motorcycle speed.
Abstract: A pressure relief valve includes a valve body with a hollow internal cavity. The internal cavity has two opposite ends, which are in communication with a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side of the pressure relief valve respectively. The pressure relief valve further includes a separating plate disposed in the valve body and located in the hollow internal cavity, and a penetrating member configured to slide linearly in the valve body. The penetrating member has a force applied thereto from the low-pressure side towards the high-pressure side by an elastic component located in the internal cavity. The pressure relief valve further includes a locking structure disposed in the valve body in a fixed manner and spaced apart from the separating plate. The penetrating member is locked in a cut-off state of the pressure relief valve by the locking structure.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for determining a master clock in a communication network having a plurality of stations that are communicatively connected to each other and each have a clock, wherein the master clock is used for time synchronization of the clocks of the stations, comprising the steps: determining by means of a model of the communication network, a synchronization path measure for each station to every other station of the stations, which specifies a synchronization accuracy between two stations; determining for each station on the basis of the synchronization path measure in each case a synchronization metric, which specifies a synchronization accuracy for this station; and determining on the basis of the synchronization metrics of all the stations the station whose clock is meant to be used as the master clock.
Abstract: A method for evaluating radar signals in a radar system including multiple sensor units, which are each capable of detecting objects in the surroundings of the radar system, the detection areas of the sensor units at least overlapping one another. In the method, each sensor unit calculates a short message from the radar signals received by it, whose data volume is smaller than the complete detection result, but which at least contains data which allow for the identification of potential objects and for the determination of a probability that the potential object is a real object, and at least one evaluation instance receives the entirety of all short messages of all sensor units and, on the basis of these short messages and selected detection results of the sensor units, calculates a consolidated detection result.

Abstract: A fluidic network for carrying out, in parallel, a plurality of analyses of biological samples is disclosed. The network has a flow cell array with a plurality of reaction chambers. The reaction chambers each have a first channel connection and a second channel connection. The first channel connections are connected to a first supply channel and the second channel connections are connected to a second supply channel. The first supply channel and the second channel connection are interconnected by a circulation line. At least one component is connected to the circulation line so that component test reagents can be introduced into the reaction chambers of the flow cell array.
