Abstract: The invention relates to a drive system, in particular for a vehicle, comprising a fuel cell unit for generating electric energy, a secondary battery for storing electric energy, an electric machine with windings, and an inverter for actuating the electric machine. The inverter is designed as a 3-level inverter and has multiple electronic switches, diodes, a plus pole, a minus pole, and a neutral pole. The fuel cell unit and the secondary battery are connected in series and are connected to the poles of the inverter. The invention also relates to a method for heating a drive system according to the invention, wherein the switches of the inverter are actuated such that a short-circuit current path is produced between the poles of the inverter to which the fuel cell unit is connected.

Abstract: A modular deformable electronics platform is attachable to a deformable surface, such as skin. The platform is tolerant to surface deformation and motion, can flex in and out of a plane of the platform without hindering operability of electrical components included on the platform, and is formed via arrangement of discrete flexible tiles, with corners of adjacent tiles connected by a flexible connection material so that individual tiles can translate and rotate relative to each other. Abstract: The intrusion detection system includes a base station and a plurality of sensor nodes communicatively coupled to the base station. The intrusion detection system may be connected to other client devices via a server or a network. The base station sets at least one of the sensor nodes into either a partial system activation mode or full system activation mode. The base station triggers an alarm event including information to a stakeholder in the event an abnormal movement or behavior is detected.
