Abstract: An oscillator, a transmission/reception device for a bus system, and a method for generating a clock frequency with the oscillator are indicated. The oscillator serves to generate a clock frequency and includes a timing element that has a frequency-determining capacitance for determining the frequency of the clock frequency, and a comparator, the comparator being configured to detect a threshold voltage to which the frequency-determining capacitance is to be charged, and the comparator having a switchable capacitance for offset compensation.
Abstract: A laser leveling tool comprises at least one laser diode for emitting a laser beam; a micro controller unit for controlling the operation of the laser diode; and a thermal sensor for sensing the internal temperature of the laser leveling tool; wherein the micro controller unit is configured to reduce the operation power of the laser diode when the sensed internal temperature reaches a temperature threshold.

Abstract: A method for actuating an electromagnetic valve in a fluid system includes, for a specified first time period, a switching current with a specified first amplitude is applied, the switching current switching the electromagnetic valve from a rest state into a switching state. Abstract: An electronic transmission range select actuator (ETRSA) includes two independent drive systems that are each able to actuate a common shaft, for example an output shaft of the ETRSA, via a coupling device disposed between and connecting the gear trains of each system. The first drive system of the two independent drive systems is used during normal vehicle operation to change the transmission gear range to a desired gear range. The motor further includes an adjusting device with an adjusting piston arranged in the port plate, a control valve arranged on the port plate and with a control valve piston, a feedback spring arranged in the port plate and clamped between the adjusting piston and the control valve piston, a counterbalance valve with a counterbalance spool, and two secondary pressure-limiting valves inserted as cartridge-type inserts into the port plate. The counterbalance spool is accommodated in a valve bore in the port plate. The two working ports are situated on the port plate opposite to the first side. The two secondary pressure-limiting valves are arranged on the same side as the port surfaces.

Abstract: A control method comprises at least one detection of activation of the pushing aid. When activation is detected, in the subsequent step a velocity of the electric vehicle and/or a constant starting torque are/is generated by actuation of the electric motor. The generated velocity of the pushing aid as a result of the actuation is dependent on the engaged transmission ratio of the gearshift. In order to adapt the velocity, the control method comprises sensing the current motor rotational speed of the electric motor and sensing the current velocity of the electric bicycle. The engaged transmission ratio is determined as a function of the sensed motor rotational speed and the sensed velocity. The adaptation of the velocity of the electric bicycle occurs in the subsequent step as a result of regulation of the electric motor as a function of the transmission ratio and the maximum velocity, which is not exceeded.
Abstract: A surveillance system is provided including an Internet-enabled (IP) camera and nodes that determine the location of a plurality of sensors, which are wirelessly connected to the IP camera. The nodes determine the position of the plurality of sensors and the IP camera through the use of position determining techniques including multilateration, trilateration, and triangulation. Additionally, line of sight positioning methods and global positioning system devices may be used in setting up a positional awareness system, which enables the IP camera to control systems based on condition information and positional awareness.
