  • Patent number: 12191740
Abstract: A drive device for an actuator for a brake device of a motor vehicle. The drive device has an electric machine having a rotor rotatably mounted in a housing and a stator fixed to the housing. A bearing shield is situated in the housing that has an axially extending sleeve-shaped bearing segment for the rotatable bearing of a drive shaft, which bears the rotor. The bearing shield has an axially extending sleeve-shaped retaining segment held with a frictional fit in a sleeve-shaped end segment of the housing and has a diameter that is greater than the diameter of the bearing segment. A radially extending annular disk-shaped floor segment of the bearing shield is between the retaining segment and the bearing segment. The retaining segment has a first axial partial segment connected to the floor segment, and a second partial segment connected to the first partial segment.

  • Patent number: 12190105
Abstract: A method for controlling a robotic device. In the method, for a version of a control software which is not the initial version of the control software for which the test values delivered by the tests at least partially do not fall within predefined ranges, it is checked whether that version of the control software fulfills safety criteria that have been created for a previous version (and are fulfilled by that version) for which the test values delivered by the tests at least partially do not fall within the predefined ranges, but was safe. If this is the case, the robotic device is controlled with that version of the control software.

  • Patent number: 12191874
Abstract: A method for precise acquisition of a signal of a sensor, by an evaluation and control unit which has a multiplexer at whose inputs there is at least one reference voltage whose voltage value is known, a ground potential of the reference voltage, a measurement signal of the exhaust gas sensor, and a ground potential of the measurement signal. A computer is connected downstream from the multiplexer via a transmission path and via an ADC that converts a voltage between its two inputs into a digital value. The method provides that a plurality of individual measurements are carried out in which switching states of the multiplexer are modified, and digital values are subsequently acquired at the output of the ADC. The computer calculates a measurement value, corrected with regard to offset and gain, from these digital values.

  • Patent number: 12187257
Abstract: A control device for a two-stage solenoid valve, including an activation unit which outputs a current flowing through a solenoid coil of the solenoid valve as a switching signal. The solenoid valve is switchable from its de-energized switching state into its energized switching state by increasing a current intensity of the switching signal from zero to a switching current intensity. The solenoid valve is switchable from its energized switching state into its de-energized switching state by designing the activation unit to set the current intensity of the switching signal during a switching time interval to at least one current intensity value between zero and the switching current intensity, reduce it to zero after the switching time interval and during the switching time interval, increase it at least twice, each for a predefined pulse time interval, to a predefined current pulse value between zero and the switching current intensity.

  • Patent number: 12181546
Abstract: A method for measuring a magnetic field includes radiating a microwave field having a first frequency into at least one measuring location in a crystal, which comprises optically excitable color center defects at the measuring location, radiating excitation light and detecting resulting fluorescence light, applying a deformation force which results in local mechanical strain, wherein an applied first deformation force is selected such that the first frequency corresponds to a resonance frequency of the color center defects under the action of the first deformation force without the magnetic field to be measured and the detected fluorescence light becomes minimal. The method further includes placing the sensor into the magnetic field to be measured to bring about a shift in the resonance frequency and varying the applied deformation force to compensate the shift in the resonance frequency until a minimum fluorescence signal is again acquired at a second deformation force.

  • Patent number: 12184793
Abstract: A method for certificate chain validation is disclosed for memory-efficient execution inside a secure execution environment of a hardware security module (HSM), despite very limited memory being inside the HSM. This is achieved by allocating enough HSM memory for at least the root certificate, a signer certificate, and a certificate to be validated, and replacing the signer certificate as the certificate chain is traversed. Revalidation of data is implemented by computing secure tags that enable the HSM to quickly recognize previously validated data. Chain validation is only considered provisional until checked against a CRL, which can be provided to the HSM in a streaming fashion, and each received serial number in the CRL is checked against the list of serial numbers representing the provisionally verified chain.
