The pressure relief assembly may limit deflections between the thrust reverser and the pylon in response to a burst duct. The pressure relief door may release from the latch automatically in response to an over pressurization event.

A flat shim may be selected based on the size of the gap. The flat shim may be inserted between the first flange and the second flange. A plurality of bolts may be inserted through the first flange, the flat shim, and the second flange to seal the first duct segment to the second duct segment.
