Abstract: A container (3) having a pouring section (1) is outlined, the pouring channel (6) of which makes optimum pouring action possible. The pouring section (1) consists of a portion (8), which is formed on the container (3), having a section (10) of the pouring channel (6) facing the interior space (9) and a widened part (11), which borders thereon. An internal portion (12) having the other section (13) of the pouring channel (6), which portion may be inserted into the widened part (11) preferably in a liquid-tight manner. The internal portion (12) can be glued, welded or snapped into the widened part (11).
Abstract: An insulated container is comprised of an outer shell including a base, a predominantly convex portion, and a predominantly non-convex portion, and an insulating insert positioned in the outer shell. The convex portion and the non-convex portion of the outer shell meet at a seam which is disposed substantially at a transition between convex and non-convex outer surface portions of the outer shell. The outer shell has a lower opening with a first diameter in which the base is removably secured. The insulating insert has a maximum diameter which is less than the first diameter so that the insulating insert is insertable into the outer shell through the lower opening prior to securing the base in the lower opening.
Abstract: A screw lid for an insulating container, which includes a sealing cup and a cover surrounding it, can be screwed onto a cap fixed to the cover. The screw lid is made of plastic and traps a plastic sealing ring against a sealing face on the container to close the container and form a seal. The lid includes a hollow cylindrical cooling body that, when the lid is in place, projects into the sealing cup through the opening sufficiently far to be immersed in the liquid in the sealing cup. The cooling body has a maximum cross-sectional dimension such that it can be accommodated by the cross-sectional dimension of the sealing-cup opening without contacting the sealing-cup opening. By filling the cooling body with a suitable coolant and refrigerating the cooling body prior to attaching the lid to the container, the liquid in the sealing cup will be brought to a low temperature and maintained at a low temperature longer.
