Abstract: A water reservoir for a clothes pressing iron, the reservoir being composed of two plastic parts, and a method for fabricating the reservoir by: simultaneously molding the two parts of one reservoir in a first injection molding step in two impressions of the same mold; and assembling the two parts together while, in a second injection molding step, injection molding a joint of plastic material between the two parts to connect the two parts together in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the two parts are assembled together and the second injection molding step is performed before complete crystallization of the two parts.
Abstract: The invention provides a drip valve having few parts. The drip valve is arranged between the water tank and the evaporation chamber. An adjustment part is mounted in the handle and has an eccentric and helical sliding track with latching grooves. The adjustment part is formed as a wheel segment with bearing pins. The valve includes a valve rod with an angled end. The angled end of the valve rod is engageable in the latching grooves so as to hold the rod and valve in place.
Abstract: An electric iron has a soleplate with a front tip and at least one passage for a liquid stored in a liquid tank system for wetting an article to be ironed. The passage is arranged in the area of the front tip symmetrically to a central line which starting from the front tip divides the soleplate in the middle. The liquid exits the passage in the form of liquid droplets generated by a piezoelectrically driven sprayer arranged above the soleplate. The electric iron is characterized in that the sprayer (12, 13, 14, 29) has at least one piezoelectrically driven thin membrane plate (12) with a plurality of spraying holes (24) associated with the respective passage (11) of the soleplate (6) and having a mean clear width from 30 to 100 .mu.m. The number of spraying holes (24) is selected to ensure that the amount of liquid dispensed through the soleplate (6) does not exceed about 8 g/minute. The passages (11) are maximum 10 mm wide, whatever their length.
Abstract: An electric toothbrush with a handle, a brush head and a shank which connects the handle to the brush head. A rotary motor is arranged in the handle and drives an unbalanced mass. The unbalanced mass driven by the motor is supported on one side or on both sides in the shank close to the brush head and is driven via an extended drive shaft, preferably an intermediate shaft, by the motor.

Abstract: A steam iron having a water tank, a sole-plate that defines a steam chamber, a drip valve that connects the water tank to the steam chamber, and an anti-drip device includes a water supply channel between the water tank and the drip valve, a valve tappet with a sealing cone, and a return spring. The anti-drip device is a one-piece molded part of elastic material formed as an elongated seal.
