  • Patent number: 4854619
Abstract: An electric key has a self-holding electromagnet for attracting movable means holding a locking block in its nonconductive state and for releasing the movable means in its conductive state by a spring. The movable means is returned by a hand-operation to a position where it is attracted on the electromagnet. This results in the saving of electric power.

  • Patent number: 4834165
Abstract: Disclosed is a collapsible core for use in a casting and a method for producing the collapsible core. The collapsible core comprises a main core body, a first layer formed over the core body, a second layer formed over the first layer, and a third layer formed over the second layer. The second layers includes a thermosetting resin such as low temperature decomposable resin. The low temperature decomposable resin comprises one of urea resin and phenol resin. The thermosetting resin is applied to the first layer by dipping, spraying or brush-painting. This thermosetting resin provides tight bonding to the neighbouring layers.

  • Patent number: 4832279
Abstract: A click sound generator for a spinning reel includes a clicking toothed wheel and a ratchet wheel secured to a quill that projects out of the front portion of the body of the reel. A clicking claw can be engaged with, or disengaged from, the clicking toothed wheel, and is supported on an anti-reversing lever shaft projecting out of the front portion of the body of the reel. A spring urges the clicking claw to engage the claw and clicking toothed wheel. An anti-reversing pawl is urged into engagement with the rachet wheel by a guide spring and can be disengaged from the ratchet wheel. An anti-reversing lever cam moves the clicking claw in both the axial and circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 4832278
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a fishing reel fishline winding direction changeover mechanism which allows for winding in the left-handed and right-handed positions. The mechanism allows switching of the reel, and changing over the transmission of the braking force for the left or right-handed positions, and can be easily and quickly performed without attaching and detaching any component parts. The structure includes first and second brake pawls which are pivotally coupled to a brake plate, and can be swung by elastic urging into engagement with a ratchet wheel.

  • Patent number: 4825503
Abstract: An improved door closer which prevents overly rapid closing due to an external force, such as wind pressure, being exerted on the door. A pair of oil holes are formed communicating with a first pressure chamber and a non-pressure chamber formed in the main cylinder of the closer. A slide valve is disposed in a communicating hole communicating with the oil holes and extending generally perpendicular to the cylinder. A head portion and a braking valve portion are formed on the valve rod of the slide valve at positions corresponding to the oil holes. An elastic member urges the slide valve in the direction opposite to the normal flow direction of the operating oil when the door is closing. An adjusting screw controls the position of the slide valve.
