Abstract: An integrated device having a substrate wherein a buried layer and an epitaxial region have been formed, and an isolation structure adapted to define a plurality of isolation wells for integrating the components of the integrated device therein, the isolation structure including plural dielectrically insulated regions or dielectric trenches being filled with a conductive material to form a plurality of contact regions to buried regions of the device, the buried regions including, in particular, the substrate and buried layer.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of pharmaceutically acceptable salts of (SS,RS)-S-adenosyl-L-methionine and allows to obtain the salified (RS)-(+)-S-adenosyl-L-methionine diastereoisomer in amounts lower than or equal to 3% with respect to the salified (SS)-(+)-S-adenosyl-L-methionine diastereoisomer; the salts that can be obtained by the process of the invention keep their configuration stable in time.

Abstract: A motor vehicle body assembly and welding station comprises a pair of facing tool (12) support conformators (11) designed to work on the body and taken between them by a conveyor system (14). The conformators are movable between a rest position in which the body is free to enter and exit the station and a work position in which the tools are near the body to work on it. At least some of the tools (12) comprise measurement means (20) for the relative position of facing body parts and the conformators have an intermediate position between said work and rest positions. On command control means (19) take the conformator into said intermediate position and activate the measurement means (20) to determine the agreement of body dimensions with predetermined measurement intervals and issue acceptance or rejection signals (22) for the body on the basis of the survey result.
Abstract: A manufacturing process including forming a first insulating region on top of an active area; forming a tunnel region laterally to the first insulating region; forming a floating gate region; sealing the floating gate region with an insulating region; forming a control gate region on top of the floating gate region; and forming conductive regions in the active area. The floating gate region is obtained by depositing and defining a semiconductor material layer through a floating gate mask. The floating gate mask has an opening with an internally delimiting side extending at a preset distance from a corresponding externally delimiting side of the mask, and the semiconductor material layer is removed laterally at the external and internal delimiting sides so that the tunnel area's length is defined, by the floating gate mask alone.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for inspection of unpopulated printed circuit boards is disclosed. A printed circuit board is mounted on a mobile base capable of scanning on at least one direction. During a scan, the printed circuit board moves with respect to a heater and a portion of the board's surface, including both tracks and substrate, is heated. After heating, but within seconds of removing the heat source, the board surface is analyzed by an infrared (IR) sensitive camera. The different intensities of IR emissions allow for discrimination between the traces and the substrate and provide a means of detecting defects on the board. Defects are detected either by comparison to a database used for production of the boards or by design rule checking.

Abstract: A charge counter for monitoring the charge of the battery state of an electronic device includes a sensing circuit of the charge and discharge current of the battery. The sensing circuit includes a differential amplifier having inputs coupled to the terminals of a sensing resistor of the battery current, a resettable integrator of the output signal of the amplifier, a first comparator and a second comparator of the output signal of the integrator generating a logic charge interrupt signal and a logic discharge interrupt signal, respectively. The sensing circuit also includes a switch for discharging the capacitance of the integrator momentarily closed by a logic circuit at every transition of the output signal of one or the other of the first and second comparators.

Abstract: Cleaning apparatus that has at least one suction device that sucks fluid toward the inside of the apparatus and is connected to an external suction duct. Interposed between the duct and the suction device is a device that holds back the solid particles present in the fluid. Such a holding back device includes at least one mixing chamber containing in part the liquid. Abstract: An electrical power connector is disclosed having a plug and receptacle. The plug includes a coupling ring having a single handle extending radially therefrom. The coupling ring is freely rotatable within limits on the plug when the plug is not coupled to the receptacle. The receptacle includes one or more bayonet ramps to which the coupling ring can be coupled. Advantageously, the plug can be coupled to the receptacle with 120° rotation or less by rotating the coupling ring 120° or less. The plug and receptacle each include a colored locking indicator to indicate to the person coupling the plug to the receptacle that the receptacle and plug are properly aligned to each other when coupled. Also an audible indication of locking is provided when the electrical plug and receptacle are fully coupled.
Abstract: Presented is an integrated circuit structure having a power transistor in a first well and control circuitry in another well. Between the power and control regions is an intermediate region including a biaging circuit secured to prevent flow of parasitic current from the wells into the substrate by biasing the intermediate region at a value of potential which is tied to the value of potential of the first well. The biasing circuit can include a bipolar transistor.

The device includes a trigger (16) in a mounting position and a percussion or firing position for the control of the hammer. The hammer is stressed by a release spring (15). A spring-loaded (22) safety piston (20) is arranged between the hammer (14) and the stock (11) of the gun, and is intended for spacing the hammer with the firing pin in the case of a percussion, automatically placing it in a neutral position, after each firing action and with the trigger released.
Abstract: An elastic hinge for eyeglasses, comprising a temple which has an end provided with a hollow body which accommodates, with a coupling which allows only rotation, part of a tubular element in which one end of a shaped element is guided with a coupling which allows only sliding. The shaped element has, at the other end, an eyelet which is inserted between two other eyelets which are fixed to the front of the eyeglasses so as to form the articulation of the hinge. A single spring is fixed with a first end to a part of the shaped element located inside the tubular element, with a second end to the hollow body and with a portion, which is intermediate between the first and second ends, to the tubular element.
