  • Patent number: 10562452
Abstract: A method displays information graphically on an image captured by an optical system used to simulate a rear-view mirror system of a vehicle. The method includes capturing the image and identifying an object in the image. The method the assigns a priority level to the object based on a predetermined criterion. The object is altered based on its priority level to create an altered object. An altered object may have a changed color, a colored halo surrounding it, or a colored object inside it. Other possible ways to alter the way the object looks are possible. The altered object is displayed in the image in place of the object to alert a vehicle operator of its presence and the priority level associated therewith.

  • Patent number: 10563093
Abstract: [Object] To provide a polysilazane-containing composition for forming a film. In order to form a dense and processable siliceous film, the composition is intended to be employed in a two-step conversion process comprising the steps of: forming a film having a dry surface from the composition provided that the conversion in to the siliceous substance proceeds insufficiently; and then subjecting the film to secondary processing. [Means] The present invention provides a polysilazane-containing film-forming composition comprising a particular amine compound, a polysilazane compound, and a solvent; and the invention also provides a process for forming a siliceous substance. In the process, the composition is applied to coat a substrate and thereafter converted into the siliceous substance. The particular amine compound has two amine groups, and the amine groups have at least one phenyl-substituted hydrocarbon group.

  • Patent number: 10560373
Abstract: A system and method is provided for timely and uniform real-time data packet transmission by a computing device. The system can include a shared packet memory buffer for storing data packets generated by a user application and a shared schedule memory buffer for storing packet identifiers and corresponding time slots for the data packets. Moreover, a kernel module is provided that operates in the kernel mode of the operating system directly above the network interface controller and can continuously poll the shared scheduled memory to access packet identifiers at corresponding time slots. Based on the packet identifiers in each time slot, the kernel module can pull the data packet having the packet identifier directly from the ring buffer and send each packet to the network interface controller for transmission as part of a media stream over a network to a media consuming device.

  • Patent number: 10542494
Abstract: Where a communications device maintains multiple wireless connections to other devices and networks which use slotted communications protocols, the slots used by those protocols are arranged so as to minimise the power consumed by the device. Where multiple radios are used, power is minimised by avoiding using radios at the same time when those radios are likely to interfere with each other. Slots used by communication protocols can also be selected to maximise the time that the communications device can spend in lower power mode.
