Abstract: A system and method that recognizes and highlights objects in a video frame for augmented video production workflow. A video production camera is provided to capture a video frame and generate frame data and object data relating to objects within the video frame that are in focus. Moreover, a display device is included that is wearable by the camera operator and includes a camera that captures field of view data that corresponds to a field of view of the camera operator. Furthermore, the display device can compare the video frame data with the field of view data captured by the camera to generate visual indicators for the video frame and the in focus objects. As a result, the display device can provide the camera operator with a field of view having visual indicators of the video frame and the objects that appears as overlays over the operator's field of view.
Abstract: A method of using a cryotherapeutic system in accordance with a particular embodiment includes advancing an elongate shaft of a catheter toward a treatment location within a body lumen of a human patient and directing a flow of refrigerant toward a cryotherapeutic element at a distal end portion of the shaft. The directed refrigerant is expanded to cause cooling within a balloon of the cryotherapeutic element. The pressure within the balloon is monitored and its rate of change calculated. The rate of change is then processed using different feedback loops during different monitoring windows of a treatment cycle. The individual feedback loops include an upper and a lower threshold and are configured to cause the flow of refrigerant to the cryotherapeutic element to stop if the rate of change falls outside a range between the upper and the lower threshold.
Abstract: The present invention relates to adding and dropping signals in a node of an optical network, wherein the node includes a reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM). The reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) comprises output ports and at least one add port connectable to at least one line interface of the network and adapted to receive a modulated optical signal from the line interface. Selection units are connected to one of said add ports and adapted to forward the respective signals to a selected output terminal. A plurality of broadcast units is adapted to broadcast signals forwarded by the selection. Then a multiplexing and selecting device or apparatus selects and multiplexes the optical signals broadcast via broadcast unit output terminals into a plurality of wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) optical signals and forwards the same to output ports of the reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM).

Abstract: A seat for automobile in which a back board equipped with a base material and a cover for covering that base material is attached to a back side of a seat back, wherein the back board has a first region in which a first member of the base material is set, and a second region that is softer than the first region, and a coupling member for coupling the back board to the seat back is attached to the second region.
Abstract: Automatic tracking by a camera of an object such as on-air talent appearing in a television show commences by first determining whether the object lies within the camera field of view matches a reference object. If so, tracking of the object then occurs to maintain the object in fixed relationship to a pre-set location in the camera's field of view, provided the designated object has moved more than a threshold distance from the pre-set location.

Abstract: A seat cushion trim assembly cooperates with a seat belt buckle having a flexible web, a seat connection portion for fixing a lower portion of the flexible web to seat location and a buckle fixed to an upper end of the flexible web. The seat cushion trim assembly includes a seat cushion trim and an elastic cord with a loop portion configured to extend around the seat belt buckle intermediate portion, an extensible portion extending from the loop portion to a trim fixation end, and a fastening arrangement fixing the trim fixation end to the seat cushion trim. The extensible portion bridges a distance from the flexible web to the trim and supports the buckle to prevent the buckle from moving out of an operative position, upon pivoting movement of a seat back to a forward position and to restore a buckle position upon a return pivoting movement.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods for increasing the yield of an extracellular product synthesized by an organism cultured in a continuous aerobic fermentation system. The extracellular product yield is increased through the use of an organism modified to decreased production of polyhydroxyalkanoate, to increase production of the extracellular product, and to include promoters that can be inducible in response to nutrient limitation conditions. The extracellular product yield is also increased by operating the continuous fermentation system under particular nutrient limitation conditions. Also provided are non-naturally occurring organisms that have been modified for use with the provided methods, and extracellular products made using the provided methods.

Abstract: A method, electronic device, computer program product, system and circuit assembly are provided for allocating one or more redundant pictures by taking into consideration the information content of the primary pictures, with which the redundant pictures would be associated. In particular, primary pictures that are determined to be more sensitive to transmission loss or corruption may be allocated one or more redundant pictures, while those that are less sensitive may not be so allocated. By selectively allocating redundant pictures to only those primary pictures that are more sensitive, the method disclosed reduces the amount of overhead associated with redundant pictures and increases the coding efficiency, without sacrificing the integrity of the video data.

Abstract: A heart valve prosthesis is provided having a self-expanding multi-level frame that supports a valve body comprising a skirt and plurality of coapting leaflets. The frame transitions between a contracted delivery configuration that enables percutaneous transluminal delivery, and an expanded deployed configuration having an asymmetric hourglass shape. The valve body skirt and leaflets are constructed so that the center of coaptation may be selected to reduce horizontal forces applied to the commissures of the valve, and to efficiently distribute and transmit forces along the leaflets and to the frame. Alternatively, the valve body may be used as a surgically implantable replacement valve prosthesis.

Abstract: This material comprises an annuloplasty member able to be introduced using a catheter through minimally invasive vascular access, then to be delivered by said catheter and fixed to the valve annulus. According to the invention, it includes at least one catheter comprising at least one guide member able to be deployed from said catheter such that it extends along one portion of the valve annulus of the valve, in the immediate proximity of said valve annulus, and an implant having a helical shape engaged on said guide member, connected, with separation possibility, to actuation means making it possible to cause this implant to move forward while driving it in rotation around its axis; the implant can thus be deployed from the catheter while being simultaneously moved forward and driven in rotation along its axis.
