Abstract: An apparatus for HDR image processing is provided. The apparatus determines an imaging sensitivity value. The apparatus then compares subsets of imaging information with the determined imaging sensitivity value and applies a gamma correction to each subset of imaging information using a gamma low contrast curve or a gamma high contrast curve based on the comparison to obtain the gamma corrected subset of imaging information.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for non-continuous circumferential treatment of a body lumen. Apparatus may be positioned within a body lumen of a patient and may deliver energy at a first lengthwise and angular position to create a less-than-full circumferential treatment zone at the first position. The apparatus also may deliver energy at one or more additional lengthwise and angular positions within the body lumen to create less-than-full circumferential treatment zone(s) at the one or more additional positions that are offset lengthwise and angularly from the first treatment zone. Superimposition of the first treatment zone and the one or more additional treatment zones defines a non-continuous circumferential treatment zone without formation of a continuous circumferential lesion. Abstract: An electronic chip, a chip assembly, a computing device, and a method are described. The electronic chip comprises a plurality of processing cores and at least one hardware interface coupled to at least one of the one or more processing cores. At least one processing core implements a game engine and/or a simulation engine and one or more processing cores implements an artificial intelligence engine, whereby implementations are on-chip implementations in hardware by dedicated electronic circuitry. The one or more game and/or simulation engines perform tasks on sensory data, generating data sets that are processed through machine learning algorithms by the hardwired artificial intelligence engine. The data sets processed by the hardwired artificial intelligence engine include at least contextual data and target data, wherein combining both data and processing by dedicated hardware results in enhanced machine learning processing.
Abstract: A system and method for storing and retrieving preconfigured, hidden SyncML server profiles on a client is described. Conventionally, users of client devices need to manually configure the devices to allow for synchronization with new servers via SyncML. Preconfigured SyncML profiles allow a client to synchronize with a SyncML server without having to generate a new SyncML profile, thereby improving user experience. The preconfigured SyncML profiles may be hidden from a user or displayable to a user.
Abstract: A media stream receiver is provided for scalable physical layer flow of packetized media streams. The media stream receiver replicates the processing block in time, rather than in hardware, through the use of a single shared memory and pointer alignment calculations, which combines multiple buffering stages as the single, shared memory buffer to offer redundancy and alignment, while acting as a receiver buffer to account for packet delay variations. By doing so the media stream receiver can perform a vertical interval switch between received media streams.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for performing high dynamic range digital double sampling. More particularly, a CMOS image sensor is provided that includes a pixel array with each pixel sampling both dark and bright values for digital double sampling. After the sampled signals are digitized, a mean dark value is determined and each dark value is further fed to a lookup table that generates an output value taking into account whether the pixel has been saturated. In over exposed conditions, the lookup table will generate a negative value output to eliminate image artifacts. All three values are fed to adder logic circuit that subtracts the mean dark value and the lookup table output from the bright value. This resulting output is fed to a video viewer.

Abstract: A transcatheter valve prosthesis includes an expandable tubular stent, a prosthetic valve within the stent, and an anti-paravalvular leakage component coupled to and encircling the tubular stent. The anti-paravalvular leakage component has an expanded configuration in which the segments curve radially away from the tubular stent and the annular sealing element is positioned between an outer surface of the tubular stent and inner surfaces of the segments.
