Abstract: An anti-icing composition suitable for incorporation in bituminous conglomerates for road paving, comprising an alkali metal chloride, an alkaline-earth metal carbonate, an alkali or alkaline-earth metal formate, a polysiloxane and optionally an alkaline-earth metal chloride, in which the polysiloxane is contained in an amount between 0.5 and 2.0% by weight of the total weight of the composition; it is also described a bituminous conglomerate adapted to provide an anti-icing road paving, comprising aggregates, bitumen, filler and from 2 to 6% by weight of such anti-icing composition of the weight of the aggregates.

Abstract: A circuit includes a timer circuit configured to generate a first control signal defining a first time period and a second control signal defining a second time period. A controller is configured to control a high-side and a low-side transistor of a half-bridge circuit in response to the first and second control signals only during a first switching cycle of the half-bridge circuit. The half-bridge circuit includes a bootstrap capacitor coupled to a node between the high-side and low-side transistors. The controller turns on the low-side transistor for the first time period during the first switching cycle and configured turns off the low-side and the high-side transistors for the second time period during the first switching cycle.

Abstract: A circuit for reading a memory cell of a non-volatile memory device provided with a memory array with cells arranged in wordlines and bitlines, among which a first bitline, associated to the memory cell, and a second bitline, has: a first circuit branch associated to the first bitline and a second circuit branch associated to the second bitline, each with a local node, coupled to which is a first dividing capacitor, and a global node, coupled to which is a second dividing capacitor; a decoder stage for coupling the local node to the first or second bitlines and coupling the global node to the local node; and a differential comparator stage supplies an output signal indicative of the datum stored; and a control unit for controlling the decoder stage, the coupling stage, and the differential comparator stage for generation of the output signal.

Abstract: A machine for producing coils of prestretched extendible film has a prestretching unit (10) for prestretching the film (F) and a winding unit (100) for winding the film in a coil provided with a series of rollers around which the advancing film winds partially; the winding unit comprises a winding roller (104) in pressing contact against the coil (R) of the prestretched film in winding progress; to obtain coils of constant diameter and high winding quality the final contact position is varied of the winding roller (104) against the coil (R) according to the length of the wound film and according to the required diameter of coil.

Abstract: A transfer unit for transferring articles having a first orientation from a first line, to a perpendicular second line along which the articles advance with a second orientation, rotated in the horizontal plane relative to the first orientation, includes a carousel having a set of pickup devices carried by rotatably supported arms driven in counter-rotation and phase relationship with the rotation direction of the carousel. Counter-rotation is obtained by idler gears meshing with a crown wheel coaxial with and fixed to the carousel and with gears acting on the arms. The gripping devices are driven in counter-rotation relative to rotation of the arms to keep their orientation constant in the horizontal plane while free ends of the arms rotate. Counter-rotation of the pickup devices is obtained by a first pinion connected by a belt to a second, smaller pinion fixed on the axis of rotation of the arm.

Abstract: An integrated magnetoresistive device includes a substrate of semiconductor material that is covered, on a first surface, by an insulating layer. A magnetoresistor of ferromagnetic material extends within the insulating layer and defines a sensitivity plane of the sensor. A concentrator of ferromagnetic material includes at least one arm that extends in a transversal direction to the sensitivity plane and is vertically offset from the magnetoresistor. The concentrator concentrates deflects magnetic flux lines perpendicular to the sensitivity plane so as to generate magnetic-field components directed in a parallel direction to the sensitivity plane.

Abstract: The invention relates to a class of molecules obtained for conjugating a species or substrate to Bortezomib by means of bonds of the boronic diester type which are stable in a neutral environment but which are capable of being degraded in a slightly acid environment (pH=4.5-5.0) releasing the drug Bortezomib and which can also be conjugated on the surface of a cro-nanosystem (a type of substrate) for the delivery of drugs in such a way as to become a constituent thereof. They represent a class of Bortezomib prodrugs with respect to hydrolysis of the boronic ester. They may be used in the transport and release of Bortezomib when it is necessary to diffuse it in slightly acid pH environments after passing through neutral pH environments in which the drug remains stably conjugated in the form of a non-biologically-active boronic ester.

Abstract: An anti-theft and safety mechanism for bottles is described, comprising a case, first locking and unlocking means, and second locking and unlocking means adapted to be actuated, when locking, through a manual action, after the mechanism has been inserted onto the neck of a bottle and, when unlocking, as consequence of the unlocking action exerted on the first locking and unlocking means, allowing the removal of the mechanism from the neck of the bottle, wherein the first locking and unlocking means comprise a hook which is adapted to fasten a collar of the bottle, and the second locking and unlocking means comprise a first half-circular element adapted to be moved in contact with the neck of the bottle preventing the access to the tip of the hook.
