Abstract: Safety binding for the practice of ski touring, including a baseplate having a rear end and a front end, the baseplate being adapted to be pivotally mounted relative to a ski; a rear base adapted to be fixed to the ski; a heel lift capable of taking at least a support position in which the heel lift limits the rotation of the baseplate, and a storage position in which the heel lift does not limit the rotation of the baseplate; and a mechanism enabling the baseplate to be alternatively fixed to and released from the rear base. The mechanism includes a locking device capable of switching from a first closed position to a second open position. The binding also includes a release member having an actuation surface adapted to be manipulated by the user, the bias of the actuation surface thereof driving the locking device toward the second open position; and a return member biases the locking device toward their first closed position.

Abstract: A toe piece for a gliding apparatus, such as a touring ski, including: two tightening elements relatively movable between a boot-tightened position, in which they engage respective lateral housings of the boot, and an open position to release the boot, the tightening elements forming a pivot axis for the boot; a stop movable between an active position in which the stop comes into contact with the front end of the boot so as to longitudinally position the lateral housings of the boot, and a retracted position in which the stop does not interfere with normal pivoting of the boot during an ascent phase, the stop being in an active position when the two tightening elements are in the open position; the movable stop is directly connected to the tightening elements, so that a relative displacement of the tightening elements causes the stop to switch between its active and retracted positions.

Abstract: A gliding device includes a gliding board, a mechanism for binding a boot to the gliding board, the binding mechanism including a retaining device allowing rotation of the boot about an axis transverse to the gliding board, and an arrangement for applying a pulling force on the shovel of the gliding board. The arrangement for applying a pulling force on the shovel is not elastic, and the gliding device further includes a device for adjusting the length of the pulling arrangement.
