    Abstract: When a fitting piece slips out of a rail groove of a guide rail in connection with an excessive load on a shutter curtain is restored to the rail groove, the restoration is reliably set and noiselessly carried out. A posture holding bar and fitting pieces, which are spaced from both right and left sides of the posture holding bar at a predetermined interval, are provided at the lower end portion of the shutter curtain. A first guide body guides the posture holding bar to the opposing site to the rail groove in the process of an opening/closing operation of the shutter curtain. A second guide body guides the fitting piece at the lower end portion of the shutter curtain to the opposing side to the rail groove in conformity with a timing at which the posture holding bar is positionally regulated to the opposing side to the rail groove by the first guide body is provided at the upper side of the rail groove constituting the guide rail.

    Abstract: An electric-powered shutter apparatus to be mounted to a building. A winding drum (4) of an electric-powered shutter device (1) is provided with a driving mechanism including an electric motor (7) and a single-directional rotary clutch device (8). A balance tension device (9) is provided at the other end of the apparatus. The clutch device (8) is configured to slip when the load of the rotation in the direction of the curtain being fed exceeds a certain load. Further, the load at which the clutch device (8) slips is set so as to be greater than the force for forcibly rotating the electric motor when disconnected from electric power. The balancing tension device (9) is balanced against the sum of the weight of the shutter curtain (2) and the load for forcibly rotating the electric motor (7). Thus, the need for a braking device for the electric-powered shutter apparatus to be mounted to a building is eliminated.

    Abstract: A pair of links hangingly support a bearing plate that secures a winding shaft of a shutter curtain. The links are arranged so that the dimension of the space accommodating the links can be minimized. A first link pivots at one end to an end of the bearing plate, adjacent to a shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a side wall of the shutter case so as to project upward away from the shutter guide. A second link pivots at one end to the other end of the bearing plate, away from the shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a portion of the side wall of the shutter case so that the second link extends under the winding shaft toward the shutter guide to bypass the winding shaft. Thus, both the first and second links can be accommodated within the diameter of the winding wheel.

According to this invention, since a sudden change of a diameter of winding layer is eliminated, the damage and deterioration of the slats are precluded efficiency of winding and unwinding operation is improved, and it becomes easier to put a manual-operated rolling shutter of this type to practical use.The shutter curtain is comprised of slats being connected to each other and each winding layer is comprised of n slats which have the same vertical dimension. When the shutter curtain is being wound around the winding durm, the distance between the center of the winding drum and apexes of winding layers gradually increases by H/n. The distance H is the difference between a radius of a winding layer and that of adjacent winding layer(s).

As the sky light is used also for ventilation, the connecting members of the frames are formed as a operating member of the wing frame and various aspects of the rain detecting device to close the wing frame in the rain is disclosed in relation to the operating member.

    Abstract: This invention discloses an electrically driven elevation bed apparatus which moves up and down while keeping its horizontal posture, in order to make effective use of indoor space. The elevation bed of this invention includes improved driving systems and safety devices for the driving systems. The driving systems includes a driving device including a spring to store biasing force on a supporting shaft thereof for the ascending of the bed frame. Also included is the use of steel belts as cord bodies to hand the bed frame to make the driving device compact and to eliminate troubles encountered with wireropes. The third aspect of the present invention also relates to an improvement of the driving systems. This aspect enables the bed frame to be positioned in inclined postures by introducing clutch means in the driving device to raise one side of the bed only. To the elevation bed, various safety devices are provided for movement of the furniture.
