Abstract: Heterologous expression of E. coli cyclopropane synthase in genotypic and phenotypic fad2fae1 plants facilitates accumulation of cyclopropane fatty acids. Co-expression of Sterculia foetida transferases, including lysophosphatidic acid acyltransferase, diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT), and Phospholipid Diacyl Glycerol Acyltransferase (PDAT), with E. coli cyclopropane synthase further enhances cyclopropane fatty acid accumulation in fad2fae1 plant seeds.

Abstract: Methods of exerting magnetic forces to collect and manipulate magnetic particles disposed in a portion of subsurface vasculature using a wearable device are provided. The wearable device is configured to change the exerted magnetic force over time. For example, the exerted magnetic force could be sufficient to collect the magnetic particles during a first period of time and low enough to release the magnetic particles during a second period of time. The exerted magnetic force could be changed over time to vary some effect on the magnetic particles, for example to control a rate of release of collected magnetic particles. In some embodiments, the magnetic particles are configured to bind to an analyte of interest. The collection and manipulation of the magnetic particles can enable detection of one or more properties of the analyte, modification of the analyte, and/or extraction of the analyte bound to the magnetic particles.

Abstract: An intelligent web-enabled plant growing system controls environmental conditions inside it to grow sprouts, microgreens and plants from seeds placed in it without much intervention of humans through the growing process. Photographs of the sprouts, microgreens and plants are taken periodically by a camera. A computer then uploads the photographs to a server. The server runs artificial intelligence programs to determine the state of the growth and suggests back to the computer how to operate the controls for environment. A user application program on a remote computer or mobile device reports the state of the box, enables the user to buy seeds, enables the user to make own recipes, and enables multiple users to share their growing experience and custom recipes.

Abstract: Provided is a method of determining Channel State Information (CSI) in a multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) wireless communication system. The CSI may comprise a Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) and/or a Rank Indicator (RI). The method comprises, for a matrix of channels comprising a link between a gNodeB (gNB) and a user equipment (UE), determining correlation values between all Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) vectors and the observations from the channel matrix. The DFT vectors may include the horizontal vector direction and the vertical vector direction. The method includes selecting those DFT vectors in one or more selected vector directions having a correlation value greater than a predefined threshold to thereby identify a subset of all DFT vectors and determining said CSI from the selected subset of DFT vectors.

Abstract: In system for analyzing large data sets, document/file format can be discovered by attempting to parse the file using several parsers to generate a schema, assigning a score to each parsing, and selecting a parser based on the assigned scores. Schema element attributes, such as statistical parameters, can be derived and used in identifying schema elements associated with other files. Attributes of identified schema elements can be used to substitute missing data values with values based on such attributes. Data values corresponding schema elements can be selected and highlighted, and schema elements and/or attributes thereof can be highlighted based on selected data values. From a cluster of files, a lineage relationship between file pairs, indicating whether one file is derived from another, can be determined for several files. In reducing/compacting data, utilization of all available reducers can be optimized according to current utilization of one or more reducers.
